If there is something that everyone has pounded into me about Canada and Australia.
We are not allowed to be represented in WT, we are not allowed to have historic vehicles represented no matter how historically significant, we are not allowed to have domestic vehicles, they must be domestic of someone else.
but cmon, you guys have the EE lightning unique (and some other cold war jets), while all i could find the US having unqiue for jet (rank V+) is F-80 (is that even cold war?), F-105D, F-14A, A-10A/C, F2H-2, the 3 F9F’s, the F3D-1, and FJ-4B
making a total of 12 unique vehicles (8 unique airframes) from rank 5 onwards (tech tree, out of 43 tt aircraft)
ground is actually better off rank 5 onwards but its pretty bad for ww2 stuff
We dont even have the Spitfire as unique, the most famous warplane my country ever built. there’s an American premium of the best one in game and there’s like three in the french tree. We don’t have harrier as unique and that’s our most innovative aircraft ever, we don’t even get the hunter as our own.
true, and all fair points, but look at the corsair, and the hellcat (plane and tank), and the P-51 (dont say it, i know), and then the p-39 and P-63 as well as a bunch of other ww2 planes
the majority of US airframes are found in other trees in considerable numbers. you guys arent exactly innocent of the whole premium deal either, look at the rank II and III british air premiums lol
i think the US spitfire should be removed, and the Ki-43, and all the other captured stuff (or stuff that never entered service + has no technical connection to the country its placed it like the spitfire) since it just muddies the game
Australia is just gaijin being really petty, literally every aussie vehicle is in the British tree other than the abrams aim. because of the abrams Australia is forbidden a permanent home and it SUUUCKS, Canada fits into the UK tree not quite as snug but its the same principle of not being allowed because of one vehicle making german or America mains cope
if the AIM wasnt in the US then id have a lot more ammo for my argument lol. at the very least, i can say confidently that our upper rank ground (7&8) is untouched by copy paste (except for ADATS but at least thats on a different chassis and doesnt have same armament (bushmaster and M3P vs just missiles)
I dont get why we have so many US planes as premiums, none of them are good options compared to tech tree planes. We have spits and tempests we don’t need a martlet.
I’m pretty sure the US spitfire like the grant are from before the UK was its own tree so its a legacy premium gaijin has refused to move out of pettiness.
I do think captured aircraft should appear in trees as premiums so i will disagree there.
Im also for trialled vehicles to appear in tech trees too, would give Israel a chieftain that way which would be cool af
no, was just a trial and they did want to buy them. lets just say Israel wasn’t as loved unquestionably as it is nowadays so we didn’t sell to them, we sold them to Iran instead (slightly modified but nothing super unique) I think they kept their test chief I’m not too sure though, however Israel liked the chieftain so much their made their own one, you will know it as Merkava.
and imo, if its trialed and lost it goes to producer’s tree (in this case UK), or just not added if its the same as an existing variant already in that tree
if its considerably modified for that purpose then that complicates things though, like the possible US KF41 (XM30 entry from Rhienmetall) which is drastically different from a typical KF41
Two have worse secondary loadout (and even worse MGs as well) and the other has the muli-engined problem(and still has the worse loadout). Yes, no, I’m sticking with the Hellcat, if it wasn’t for it and the LE Orla, coastal would still be a thorn in my side.
twelve 7.7s, that’s a hell of a lot of lead. and the bombs are pretty solid.
its pretty good for cas, 4 hispano 20mm, 6 browning 7.7s, a vickers K for rear gunner, 2 1000pdr and 2 500pdr bombs too and cand hold its own in air combat
