With the M24 being moved to 4.0 rank 3, and all other 4.0 U.S. tanks already at rank 3, the M4A2 is getting left behind. This is a lil disappointing, as all of America’s 4.0 rank 3s are light tanks. This gives very limited playstyle options to the lineup.

I mean whats stopping you from bringing a rank 2 to the rank 3 lineup. M4a2, m24, m44 and the m42 makes a pretty neat lineup
reminds me of when it went down to rank 2… how times have changed! next we’ll see the 2k back in line 3!
The M44 and M42 are built off an M41 chassis, the M19A1 is on an M24 chassis. All four tanks (M42, M19A1, M24, and M44) play like light tanks just with slightly varying ergonomics and firepower.
You can’t complete battle pass challenges, special tasks, medium daily tasks, or wagers with rank 2s. Also, rank 2s get worse rewards than rank 3s.
Well wagers are abit more lenient than they others as you only need a rank 3 in your lineup, but still.
M4A2 used to be Rank III, Gaijin moved it to Rank II so they could folder it when they did the whole “lets folder everything to make the grind easier” move.
I wouldn’t mind it moving back, however. That would be nice for events and such.
