M48 stock grind is AWFUL

Im stuck at 5.7 brits (i like the comet and dont have so much time as i used to to grind them properly) so i get rough idea, but trust me, stock APCR at 7.7 when most of the things you meet are sloped is WAY worse.

For me, the problem isn’t penetration, since it’s realistic for early APCRs to have trouble penetrating armor at an angle. In fact, it should be the case with early APDS as well, like the Centurion Mk3’s, since both bullets were quite similar in performance, with the Centurion Mk3’s APDS being slightly better at 60° than the M48’s APCR.
The main problem is damage and absurd ricochets. As I said, it’s realistic for APCRs to have poor penetration at 60°, but in-game they tend to ricochet or not penetrate in random shots at almost flat angles. And if you’re lucky enough to penetrate, the damage is nothing short of ridiculous for a bullet traveling over 1000 m/s and made of a metal that shatters after piercing.

its fun i played the a3 in china and its perfectly fine loved the apcr overall not half bad
