So remove it, 80% of enemies has stabilizer, and don’t forget 95% of times u play 0.3 uptier so at 8.7 we have tanks like turms, at lower br we have 0f-40 leo 1a2, without stabilzer M41D has no place in 8.3, at 8.0 was crap.

APFSDS, thermals, laser range finder.
Its KD is 0.5 not of that makes it good at all at this br or 8.0
Can’t have a worse event tank at a higher br than an equally as bad TT tank so the TT tank has to go up too

why would they do that?
both of which are also unstabilised and without thermals, the leopard 1a2 doesnt even get a laser rangefinder
its a light tank, K/d alone is relatively unimportant, this is why gaijin looks at overall vehicle efficiency

Honestly it would be mid all the way until 7.0…
8.0 is where it fits better, but things like XM800t should not be able to see it in downtiers
Even at that BR, it doesn’t have the mobility to properly flank like other light tanks nor does it have the penetration or damage to be able to kill tanks

yes you can, and its quite easy even with just the APDS up close to lower plate them, usually one shotting driver and gunner, then just shoot the ammo
and good heavens the APFSDS will cross map snipe the lower plate, Ive already done this half a dozen times over 800m and it can lower plate them from up to 1800m (with worse post pen damage naturally)
not that a lower plate shot is needed, you can chew the turret up comfortably from range with the dart and still pen through the mantlet with APDS from a few hundred

Nothing. Gaijin has just been on a tear of horrible BR takes lately. For some reason, especially with small, fast vehicles. I guess a lead on the team likes driving big, slow tanks and is getting really angry at being outperformed.
No idea, nobody asked it to move up; they could have fixed the bigger problem for other vehicles first. I had no idea why did they even touched it… poor M41D.
Oh yes. The incredible device that scores 0 points and kills nothing, while mostly wasting your time. Well I guess you get to see the enemies that you can’t shoot (without dying) a little bit better
