I don’t want guesswork. I want images that show what it is.
The diagram included the images that showcased each drawn segment
Basically I just made a 2D scheme of something showcased from different angles
Then I will look at the original images under the assumption that they have not been edited or altered and draw my conclusions from what is visible.
Thinking that’s what it looks like would be unreasonable.
Also, you can literally see that the tan upper part is thicker than 50mm. If you disagree, you probably can’t see.
Well, of course
The diagram was an attempt at combining all the images for better visibility
when they come in attacking, responding with irony and refusing to have a more constructive conversation, yes, that is it.
btw, you don’t even need to announce it, just leave
Thinking that’s what it looks like would be unreasonable.
Says who? Based on what evidence? The only points you can draw from that image you’ve posted I’ve said already. Anything beyond that is speculation.
I’ll await the images from avenger.
Common sense.
I haven’t seen many users do what you have described. And the ones that have are trolls, or users who are very active in this thread.
Common sense.
You mean speculation. Speculation is not evidence. Evidence is tangible.
Thinking that the turret ring is that thin on ANY modern MBT is so unreasonable to the point where its honestly more reasonable to need to prove it IS that thin rather than the fact that it isn’t.
By the way- even according to Gaijin’s very own current modelling, the ring is definitely thicker than 50mm:
That’s leaving aside any reports regarding the geometry; even Gaijin’s current geometry is clearly visibly thicker than 50mm, but only given a 50mm value.
That isn’t how evidence works you don’t assert that something is true until proven false without giving any evidence for why it should be true in the first place. You cannot see from that image anything but the points I mentioned, anything further is pure speculation.
It is the same as me saying to you that the interior walls of this cylinder are 50m thick.
There is no way to prove how thick the interior walls are from this image. It is pure speculation.
Probably because theres nothing to scale that model to. There’s no background objects to compare it to lol, great false equivalency though.
I already said that you can see that the turret is modelled in-game as it is in that image. That’s not the point I’m raising however the point I’m raising is specifically to do with the thickness/interior shaping.
Well, it is clearly a solid chunk, not a hollow piece. There is nothing to suggest, be it ingame or in real life, that, somehow, that whole segment is somehow hollow and with 50mm thick walls. It does not fit or match into the geometries at all. It is, evidently, a solid piece.
Probably because theres nothing to scale that model to. There’s no background objects to compare it to lol, great false equivalency though.
It’s not a false equivalence at all you’re just too dim to understand. It wouldn’t matter what I put in there for scale you would still not be able to say what the thickness of the internal walls are. This is not a hard thing to wrap your head around. I could give you the exact external dimensions of that cylinder and you still would not be able to say what the thickness of the internal walls are.
Well, it is clearly a solid chunk, not a hollow piece.
Says who? Care to show me the images? If you can show me actual images which show the thickness and shape then that would substantiate this.
It is evidently modelled solid ingame:
Because it is solid in real life: you can find many real life images on this acknowledged and forwarded bug report: Community Bug Reporting System
Like, really. That report has everything and anything you could need.
And if that’s not enough, question logic for a moment: HOW could this piece possibly be hollow and why could and would it be?
That’s not the bottom of the turret you’re highlighting. If there are many real images showing what I’m asking you must have them with this kind of certainty or they should be very easy to find and verify.
