The M1 does not have a spall liner.
Oh, this is new to me!
Engine noise
I want to say TVD but I could be wrong on that.
Shell loadouts are wrong iirc, as well.
And I think that covers it all - For now. -
Iirc there’s a screenshot somewhere in this thread that puts the hydraulic pump on the side of the Abrams by the gunner under the turret ring.
It appears Gaijin cant even model basic things accurately when it comes to Abrams.
Who need tanks, when you can bomb them
It does not have traditional spall liners as in a layer on top of the base armor (it was studied but deemed to be too heavy); but it presumably has some form of internal inserts that should reduce spalling in some fashion, some refer to them as “internal spall liners” although that terminology is probably not entirely correct.
These are referenced, if I recall correctly, even on the first declassified Abrams protection document.
I take acknowledged bug reports more seriously rather then your claims.
Until then we’re just waiting Gaijin’s answer for that.
“presumably” Okay, no.
“Internal spall liner” That’s fundamentally not a spall liner.
If you can recall then you might be able to provide said document.
Still want my tank to be as accurate as possible even while it’s being bombed from the stratosphere.
You take bug reports seriously? Sorry to hear about that. But there’s no evidence that the M1 has a spall liner. There’s M1s you can actively get into and identify a spall liner, which is non existent.
There is no hard requirement that says a spall liner can’t be integrated. You’re just coping and trying to play semantics where there are none to even play.
Yea because unlike your empty claims they contain confirmed informations for most of the time.
Meanwhile you just showed me nothing but claiming Abrams doesnt have any Spall Liners.
Its nice to see that ignorant people like you doesnt even bother to check what kind of information bug reports contains.
No wonder why you are so clueless, your ignorance blinds you heavily.
The concept of a spall liner is a method of catching armor fragments from spalling armor. If your liner is inside that armor then it’s apart of the armor array. That’s fundamentally not a spall liner.
You are the one claiming it does have a spall liner, I’m not the one that is to bear the burden of proof.
Didn’t they fix that a few updates ago? I remember them being quieter than they used to be.
Since reading seems to be very hard for you I will repeat myself.

I didnt claimed anything, it seems you cant even read properly.
I said there is a possibility that Abrams might have Spall Liners and there is active bug report for that, best thing we can do is just back and wait for Gaijin’s answer for that.
I suggest read properly before making replies next time.
