Yes. But sometimes it can even tank 600+ rounds which it definitely shouldn’t.
That’s just how Gaijin does their ricochets and also volumetric. Its why a lot of the times your rounds will disappear and do no damage to the side ERA of T-Series tanks because there are just so many tiny plates.

that’s more volumetric issues than the hull itself it went through the plate fine but was at such an angle when it contacted the fuel tank bulk heads it ricoted
those bulkheads are like 50% nightmare and 50% godsend sometimes they will do what a lot of people call soviet bias on era for and bounce rounds they probably shouldn’t and other times it generates so much spall it 1 shots the tank that’s gaijin coding for some reason.

Lol , new M829A3 shell was just a excuse to buff Relikt 🤣 this is insane, BMPT just got more buffed good luck to 10.7 and above non ussr players (although it’s already unplayable but it got more worse)

Really? This happens with fuel tanks in general.
Theres a reason why theres so many people complaining that their round does no damage to T series tanks.

Unless it’s those on the abrams. I have the occasional odd side exterior fuel tank on the Leo’s do it but it’s rather rare.
The fuel on T series generally just immediately explodes

It offers a bit more penetration but apparently has an easier time to go through ERA.
It should go through K5 fine but Relikt is still unpennable.
M829A3 IRL last I knew should go through most ERAs , In game i genuinely hope it’s what you said man, cause if not it’s gonna make abrams ridiculously OP lol

Politics, I do think if Britain had developed the CR3 and changed or produced modernised hulls they could have had some real export opportunities to catch the gap that the now K2 is operating in somewhere between we don’t want to buy M1A2s and the Leopard 2A8 is way too expensive.
Tanks that rely on K5 era are getting smacked by M829A3. Tanks with Relikt, FY-4 and FY-5 remain unaffected by it at this moment.
