Also has great armour, none of the annoying quirks.
Like no turret basket, like no shot disables the whole tank.
It does however have spall liners, great ERA. Now it also has an APS system and K1 or 5 on the lower glacis plate.
Sadly the US havent upgraded the M1 hull armour since 1984!

Excluding the Ariete of course. That thing is a complete dumpster fire.
Same for Germany btw 2a7v is underperforming a lot in terms of armor

Do they also announced to increase the max br to 13.0? It doesn’t make much sense if Abrams gets a better shell than Leopard 2’s long barreled DM53 and still reload 1 second faster.

Its the australian one, plus they’re adding a squadron thats similar to the AIM.
I honestly thinks its a neat idea. But in reality my guess is that the devs are either financially obligated by political ties or agreements to nerf nato gear, or they are nationalistic and think this is funny.
I guess there is door number three and the data shows them the minimum they need to do in order to keep the cash flowing. And to be fair, a combination of all three is possible.
By adding the abrams and leos to every tech tree, they make it seem like there are more options and more fairness without actually doing anything to fix the problem.

While we are at it, when will they nerf the auto cannon damage to tank barrels for russian bmpts? Seems like the easiest way to allow counter play and remove the point and click adventure for bmpt users without totallt ruining the vehicle.

The US really needs this buff. Been not doing so well with all of the premium players ruining the fun. M829A3 will be able to pen reliably most russian tanks. Don’t make it OP, but definitely only give these rounds to the SEP V2 and V3. This round simulated should be able to very comfortably go through the UFP of a lot of RU vehicles. Maybe we need to have a look at your game engine that simulates round pen? The MBT and KPZ 70 suffered like hell from the nerf of their rounds. Being the Gaijin engine favors skinnier and longer darts I definitely think Gaijin should rework their game engine considering M829A3 was literally designed to penetrate modern russian tanks from the front and defeat ERA

It was trialed along with the Abrams and the the Leo 2, the ROYAL Australian Army decided the Abrams best suited it’s requirements.
We have also used German Leopard 1s, French Mirages, British Centurions, Euro copters and Korean K9s.

Just make a Poland + Yugoslavia tree… it would solve quite a few problems. 😄
I do know it’s not black and white but it is better than either being added to the U.S.S.R tree. Especially since unified Korea is about to be a thing in game.
To make this post on topic, I am quite excited about this tank.
