I thought the only LWS systen was on the SEP V4
I believe the SEPv2 was at least fitted and tested, there was a trial video on the forum post in the DEV server and I believe someone said that was a SEPv2

Where was this said? I can’t find any official post saying it’s not coming. Smin confirmed that the current uninstalled TUSK config is final for now but he said nothing about LWS.
He did, he said it’s not planned for release of the next update, I’d have to find it but that was the word, specifically about the LWS

Well now I’m confused, what stopping them from just adding the code from other tanks with one, I understand they obviously need to 3d model it but surly that’s the only thing right or is it because they want it to auto range find or deploy smoke like the video ???

But i see the crows in the background, would be very cool to see this with trophy tusk ii and the drone launcher thing on the side of the turret. I can only imagine how heavy it would be tho
real life no, however gaijin being gaijin probably would be in game. and yeah would absolutely love to see this with the proposed switchblade drone launcher thingy.
In the video it mentions interchangeability with other systems not just the ROSY system, things like an actual trophy system. So auto smoke is not all, it’s just being refined what ever they have left to set up in the code. Which is why th speculation about a SEPv3 addition soon

Well it’s also cardboard lol.
This is just seeing where you could potentially stick the system on a tank. In reality any CUAS measure based on direct fire (shooting it with a machine gun) would have to either be integrated with the current CROWS or replace it. Otherwise the turret is just too jumbled.

didn’t realise it had trophy for the sepv3 it was really unclear from earlier in this post because it just descended into madness thanks to that necrons guy just arguing with everybody on it.
