The side armor on the Abrams is broken and doesn’t exist. What I mean is in the X-ray view in the hangar and/or in-game, the side armor only really exists on the front of the tank, but the middle and back aren’t there. And even though the side armor is still technically useless. During a game, when I go to X-ray view, it’s not even modeled. In X-ray view in hangar, the back part doesn’t exist, but the middle front somehow does now, and it has 86-77mm of armor. The armor analysis shows that there IS armor there, but only 6 mm of armor. Either this is a bug, or it’s historically accurate; either way, it doesn’t seem accurate or right

i don’t have it labeled for the armor analysis but it indeed does say 7 mm of armor if you go and view it in game
what round we’re you using for the protection analysis?
well this is only on the m1a1, i see what u mean now and that’s just because the rear portion of the tank doesn’t have the special skirt armor as the front hence why when u go into the xray on the m1a1 the front portion shows up while the rear doesn’t
Yeah, but if you were to look at the middle of the side armor, you can see that there are the same armor proportions as the front of the tank, plus, this was not the case before this update
