I know you’re most likely joking but there is a difference between a British-designed and built turret with British components on a Leopard 2 hull, and a trialed unmodified Leopard 2. Point being, we have a 10.7 equivalent to the Leopard 2A4. If no British MBTs existed at that BR and there weren’t any other unique alternatives (e.g. TTD, Arjun, etc.) then maybe a trialed Leopard 2 could be justified. Until someone invents a time machine and gets rid of the Vickers Mk 7, Challenger 1, and others, we shouldn’t get a copy-paste Leo 2.

It’s my 6th favourite tank BR and 7th favourite air BR
+1. I see no reason why it can’t be added
Ignore the ‘Part 2’ in the title. Nothing to see there.

Can you imagine the outrage if any other mains had the audacity of British mains to demand so many vehicles from other nations? There’d be riots in the streets if there was a suggestion for German-trialed M60s or Chieftains.
Did Germany trial a Chieftain?
I don’t know about Germany, but the Dutch Trialed it in 1968:

Nice argument. Unfortunately, it goes into the Benelux subtree of France.
Please anything but a trial vehicle.
Yep, in '64

Switzerland also tested and trialed chieftains, Challengers, and Challenger 2s so if Britain is going to get all sorts of “subtree” Abrams and Leopards then Germany should also get Swiss Brit tanks
Whats next? Trailed F-22 for UK?
Please no

We don’t want crappy Raptors.
A well-modelled Typhoon with the relevant fixes will suffice.

But to address your point, no, I do not want the UK tree filled with foreign copy-paste. I think there are few, if any, people on this forum who are more in support of the UK tree being a showcase of British armoured vehicle manufacturing and operation than myself.
But unfortunately filling the tree with foreign copy-paste is the direction that Britain (and France, and others) are heading in, so I suppose the point of this suggestion is to show that if gaijin are insistent on cramming low effort foreign copy-paste into the tree, even then there are still British-flagged options for that, that actually do have notable and significant historical connections to the nation, instead of vehicles that are 100% foreign designed, manufactured, and operated, with absolutely nothing to do with Britain as a nation.

Unfortunately there we just have to agree to disagree. I’m perfectly happy to have unique Commonwealth vehicles instead of a 100% British-only tree with or without copy-paste trial vehicles.
But these additions generally speaking aren’t unique and we can’t really expect them to be in the future either.
Look at what gaijin have done with Benelux, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia. Cramming in the absolute lowest effort additions possible, with very little, if any, content that can be considered substantially unique. There is zero reason to expect anything different from any upcoming content when it comes to foreign vehicles in the British tree, and the recent additions from Australia and India only confirm this.
+1 this is a perfectly valid Suggestion, but I only see it happening as an Event vehicle.
