M18 repair costs

Went to repair (arcade) my Chinese m18 and saw the cost was going to 2863 SL.
That seemed high so I looked at my US garage it shows 1747.
What the hell?
Chinese m18 costs 64% more to repair than the equivalent US m18?

I’ve seen that many copy-paste vehicles cost more to repair than the originating nation, but the difference is usually ~ 25%.

Why does the Chinese m18 cost 64% more to repair than the US version?

Things like repair costs (and BRs) are usually balanced around the (player) performence of a tank. That means that the average chinese player is doing better in the hellcat than the average player in the american one. Which is normal becasue vehicles that get played more have usually worse stats and therefore lower repair costs or sometimes even lower BRs.

I can’t believe people are now complaining about 3,000 SL repair costs, hahah.

Up until a couple of years ago, tank repair costs would generally be on the 8,000 SL range and go as high as 15,000, 21,000 and even 30,000 SL…

And that was EVERY time. It wasn’t a “max repair cost after increasing by 100 every minute”… if you died right after spawning, you paid for that.

For what BR / rank though?

m18 is a modest 5.3 in arcade.

Disclaimer - cost does not really affect me as I have 28M+ SL. But for those that have much less it might make an impact.

I just thought the drastic cost difference for the SAME VEHICLE seemed odd and unwarranted.

Maybe one M18 has more researched modules than the other?

US has one more - M93 shot, yet costs substantially less to repair.

Wasn’t the b29 in simulator battles like 80,000? Glad I didn’t play back then
