OPs main argument is that
Which is kinda funny, because Easy Eights are doing just fine despite being slower with the same gun while still facing the King Tigers.

Nah. Its fine at 6.0. 5.3 it’d be broken OP. Its already strong at 6.0.
I disagree it needs to go to 6.3 either, 6.0 is perfect for it.
Dunno about top speed, but Super Hellcat is one of my most played tanks, and the regular hellcat accelerates from a stop much faster and is generally noticably more agile than the Super Hellcat.
That was sarcasm, the M18 has very poor pen at 6.3+ and while it can work by flanking or ambushing, it WILL see struggles with penning things, especially heavy tanks. The Tiger 2 can damn near bounce you from the side if the angle is even a little wonky
if m18 gets moved down to 5.3 so should the tiger H1 again
this is a bit of a exageration ? 76MM cannon is pretty good 5.7 seems fine for it but any lower and it be too OP you can pen on a angle up to around 44 degrees
The context is the M18 being 6.3+
76 can still side pen most 6.7s as long is it isnt a crazy angle not saying it is a crazy gun
You need to read context instead of assuming you know what we’re talking about.
yes you where exagerating about it not being able to pen tanks at 6.7 like tiger 2H/P it can and it does it fairly well
“The Tiger 2 can damn near bounce you from the side if the angle is even a little wonky”
you can pen a tiger 2 from a 90 degree angle on the side to roughly a 44 degree
You should try re-reading my posts. I did not say this.
False. It can barely pen the side armor so much that if the Tiger 2 isn’t broadside to you, you can’t risk firing at the side armor. I am referring to the hull. The gun works enough to be worked around but is quite terrible at that BR.
Which lines up… exactly with what I said, especially since you’re not accounting for the Tiger 2’s many volumetric traps.
