Recently i was playing 10,0 USA and realized the Stryker is 10.3 while the sprut with more pen similiar mobility, and atgms is a lowed br.
The sprut also has a crewed turret, has less depression, and is not .50 cal proof at all, even from the front
Can be killed by 50 cal not that fast crew sits in turret
Russian bias
If they’d fix the striker and give its its 6.0s reload I wouldn’t have an issue with it, but even as is I think they’re fine at the same BR:
They’re both lightly armored and mobile, with the striker being better at both things, however it cannot neutral steer and is quite tall. They also have great thermal imagers for the commander and gunner, with the sprout having better optics for long range and the striker being better at close range. They also both have good rounds with good pen and damage, but the sprout being better with penetration is notable. They both have controlled suspension allowing them to lower their profile (but for the strike it’s like hiding an elephant), but the striker is notably able to angle itself to increase its gun depression or elevation. The Striker also has a low profile turret with the crew siting far below it allowing you to peak over object and ensure the safety of your crew from AP rounds. But they most importantly differ in armament, especially in reload and ready rack size which the spirit is notably superior to the strike in. Taking all that into account I think they’re pretty equal where they stand, I don’t really have too much of an issue wit
it still should go up imo
the 9.3 sprut too

you can go hull down without the fear of getting your crew knocked out in the stryker compared to the sprut.
Not to mention you also get better overall gun handling in the stryker.
Give the Stryker its spall liners and the original reload then i’d be taking it to 12.0
The sprut is unfortunetely only able to lower itself and not change the angles to get even more depression than just lower profile like the stryker. Isn’t the hull the same as the bmd which can?
Technically, it is a BMD-3 chassis (Which the BMD-4 is a variant of) with two additional road wheels on each side. While it does have a hydropneumatic suspension, it appears to only affect clearance, not incline.
More depression via incline would help a lot as youd be exposing less of the manned turret taking shots.
It would, but I don’t know if it has it IRL
Striker get spall liner and 6 seconds reload go 10.7/11.0 done
I said that??
Im american sometimes I don’t read good sorry.
So real lmao, all good brother
According to gaijin it’s using a new production version of the BMD-3 that doesn’t have the capability to increase depression by inclining the hull. However, I have also seen images of Sprut TDs IRL with their hull inclined downward.
Even if it’s a “only a handful of vehicles could do it” feature, it’d be nice to have. I mean, we have T-80B with Agava and that also was a “only a handful of vehicles could” feature too.
The sprut was buffed recently 2 times.
First the addition of 3BM60 without BR increase and secondly no BR increase during the latest BR decompression unlike the TAM2C.
Why? I guess russian bias. 3BM60 alone is worth BR 10.7.
Also mentioning its horrible gun elevation speed
3BM60 is a good round, but nowhere near as good as some other rounds that can be found at 10.0-10.3. The 10.0 Sabra Mk1 gets access to M322 (which is better than 3BM60), and the 10.3 M60 120S gets access to M829A1 (which is also better than 3BM60). The big difference is that the 2S25M gets slightly better speed/acceleration at the cost of a longer reload, no armor, and worse gun handling. It fits right in at the BR.
