If I asked you how you’d feel if you didn’t eat breakfast this morning, how would you respond?
Yet the shots in the screenshot work in game… Its not accurate for every scenario, but it is a good base.

So lemme get this straight. Because you can’t prove the Abrams is good with any actual evidence or proof aside from “It’s American it’s too strong!!!1!!!,” you just opt to knowingly use faulty statcards, since the truth simply disagree with you?
This is so insanely ironic its actually funny. Atleast 4 people have told you the pros of the Abrams, and yet you choose to be as ignorant as humanly possible.

Pros of the Abrams (as listed by others):
It’s better than the Challey Ariete and Merkava
It’s one of the best vehicles at its BR in the hands of a skilled player, it’s one of the worst at its BR in the hands of an unskilled player.
It’s also better than the T-90M, T-72B3A, Leo 2A5/2A6/PSO, ZTZ99s, VT-4s, Oplot, all T-80s except maybe the BVM (only the BVM is somewhat close), the Type 10s and Leclercs.
Just because that truth hurts your perception of reality doesn’t change that it’s the truth.
Also so we don’t get off topic the thread specifically refers to the base M1 not later variants.
Yeah, but that off topic line was crossed a long time ago.
But I do agree that the M1 specifically has the potential to be the best 10.7 if played with even a tiny bit of situational awareness.
A vehicle that’s only equal to contemporaries played by average players, when it’s played by a skilled player is just a bad tank, plain and simple.
I’m sorry that you struggle so hard to fight a bad tank. I hope some day you’ll learn to accept the truth even when it hurts.
I would like if it got M833 to have a similar round to its contemporaries but I do enjoy playing it overall.
Ah yes I struggle so much fighting anything that I have a K/D between 1.5-2.8 in almost all of my top tier MBTs.
Every average player with even a little bit of situational awareness should already be able to go at least positive in the Abrams (any of them).
It’s not a bad tank, it’s just unforgiving if you’re not good with it. As I have stated on multiple other threads, the Abrams gets a lot of passive advantages, not active ones. You have one of the best turret traverse rates, reloads, mobility, gun elevation/depression, and optics. To your average or low skill player, these advantages are meaningless, as things like armor and ammunition are more important. To a skilled player, these are the advantages everyone wants.
Even a Japanese guy called him a knuckle-dragger bro the forum laughing stock
Active advantages like armor, firepower, and mobility are more useful than a decent reverse speed.
Oh, and not to mention, all of the passive advantages of the Abrams are held by other stronger tanks like the Leo 2 and TKX/Type 10 anyways.
M774 spalls less in general because it penetrates less than DM23, 3BM42, L26, etc…
That being said, yes mass is irrelevant.
I don’t think there’s a point in continuing to argue with him. You’re not going to change his mind, he’s too arrogant. Maybe someday he’ll learn to not shoot the most armored part of T-XX tanks, and then Abrams will click with him.
The difference in mobility between the M1 Abrams and other hyper-mobile MBTs (2A4, MSC, Type 90, 2K) doesn’t seem that big from what I’m seeing.
I’m surprised there’s no Vickers Mk.7 on that list.
M1A1 / IPM1 only being slightly slower is also quite interesting.
