guys i have doubt when leopard 2a4 is 55 t and m1 is 55t and leo 2a7 is 64 t and gains significant amount of front armor like 250 mm of comp screens and m1a2 sepvs gains same amount of weight but gains no front armor how is it possible

Gaijin pulls a lot of numbers from the Swedish armor trials for example alongside what was published from the M1A1 AIM. There are far more knowledgeable people for this topic but hopefully this helps give an idea as to what you’ll need.

yeah i took that into account but leo 2a 7 dimensions are significantly bigger and has same nera elements as abrams and leo 2a7 is basically a leo 2a4 with extra composite screen on front and turret which increases weight but on abrams nothinh on outside means increase in weight should be on inside and sides

I cant say, im not the most knowledgeable for modern ish MBT’s more so aircraft and IFV’s (of the Danske variety)
