physical address, business address, affiliated companies … won’t discuss that here
The main thing is that they have no issues accepting payments via international credit cards. Why should there even be problems with visa payments in CIS countries?
I don’t know about DMM, but you can’t transfer your account back to the global server from Pixel, only by physically moving out of the CIS.
This might be related to that, but I’m not sure.
This is similar to DMM. You are allowed to link the account from anywhere (confirmed by Gaijin and DMM support) but unlinking is only valid with proof of moving out of Japan, so it can’t be unlinked if you didn’t live in Japan.
But players from Japan also don’t get a choice to unlink the account, unlike Russian players that seemingly get to pick whether they prefer the regular game or pixelstorm platform, and can even make one account for each similar to consoles.
I was considering it for historical camouflages and decals since I mostly play Japan, and only use the market to buy generally less camouflages than I could get through DMM, but decided against it since I couldn’t back out if there was issues with payment processing.
If they started to make entire vehicles I’m anticipating in the game exclusive to DMM I would be forced to do the switch and risk potentially not being able to make any purchases in the game anymore without a way to unlink unless I move to Japan and back, which is simply not something worth doing for just a game. I think this is exactly what many players are experiencing internationally when it comes to this locked Yak-1.
So I really hope this practice won’t be repeated
It’s a real shame that you won’t let players from all over the world get a plane and a model of the first woman to shoot down an enemy plane and the first female ace. It’s a very unfortunate decision on your part, snail.
