Lower minimum Nuclear Thunder BR to 8.3

USA players are able to use B-52H, which is at 8.7. So, i think it would fair to give USSR players acess to Tu-95, which is placed at 8.3. Considering a lot of players probably want to play their bombers at the event, this change may even make more people play USSR (currently, it takes several minutes or hours to find a match playing USA, because of the huge difference on the amout of players.).

In my ideal world the BRs would be:

8.0-9.3
9.7-10.7
11.0-12.0
12.3-13.3
13.7-top tier

that way its not B-52 facing really crazy interceptors but it also means that nations with rather weak selections dont get stuck in the equivalent of over a full uptier of ARB almost ever

I agree with ur idea, but i think it would also be good to allow players to use lower BR planes in high BR matches.

As an example, if i have an F-4E (11.3) and an F-15E (14.0) in my line, i would only be able to join 13.7+ matches, but i would be able to use F-4E in them if i wanted to. More a fun feature than something actually useful, so players have more freedom to use the vehicles they want in different BR ranges (but also give it some limits, so ppl dont just pull ww2 stuff or sum)

Pretty sure you can, saw a b52 in the higher lvl matchmaker

would be good to allow uptiering from outside the brackets as sometimes you just dont have an option close to the BR for the role, for the 11.0 bracket we have right now, as a brit player i dont get a single supersonic airframe thats worth my time, britain doesnt get a single semi usable supersonic from the electric lightning at 9.3 until the F-4K and tornado at 12.0 so we simply dont get an option. The Lightning can at least respond really fast, even if limited to a missile from 1964 (thats missing its all-aspect capability)

if the next test for some reason excluded a valuable strike aircraft as its too low, i dont see it as too big of a deal to allow it to be played, even a prop CAS plane could find its niche. A Pucara may do quite well in nuclear thunders setting honestly

considering long range SAMs, af OSAs and 3km+ ranged shilkas, Nah no space for bombers

Tu-95 and B-52H still fight F-104 with that tho

they shouldnt be invulnerable.

Pretty much useless atp

if they are untouchable its unfair. this isnt a cozy farm sim

They aren’t untouchable, they take a bit to climb to, unless you’re a freakin Dart with an engine lol, B-52 is extremely easy to counter with ANYTHING, the F-104 just makes it 100% easier, tell me you aren’t patient

what 8.7 plane can actually get to a B-52s operating alt without stalling, being shot down or running out of fuel? i dont mean one that dives for a base in ARB i mean one thats actually gone to 12km+ altitude

If they’re playing properly, props to them, let them reap the rewards of taking 20 minutes to climb

I take it that you have never had to deal with a space climber in ARB.

I’ve dealt with them plenty, there’s a special place in hell for them, however, this isn’t ARB, you don’t have to kill every single enemy, a B-52 bombing targets isn’t detrimental to your team

I think that’s one of the whole selling points of this mode, IT ISN’T ARB! You don’t need to hunt down everyone, you don’t need to spend all your time chasing people, you can play the Mode how you want

it literally is detrimental to the team, they are knocking out SAM sites, strategic targets and getting SP for nuclear carriers.

letting them play essentially a passive match is a massive detriment.

I agree, its not just deathmatch, but PvP is still a notable part of the game.

I choose to take out the people who are draining tickets before the nuke rush phase, low alt strike fighter or space climbing buff or nighthawk

did think about it for quite a while

allows early jets to join in to get a late korea/early vietnam BR.
Gives us late vietnam too
. Contains the F-5c spam so that Tornadoes and mig 23s can have fun as CAS planes.
Contains Hornet spam
