I prefere the Leo2a4 to the T80 because of the great gun handling. You got weak hull armor but the turret is decent, great mobility, depression and gorgeous gun in terms of handling, you just dont know to use it. I grinded entire sweden team with le2a4 premium, started with zero lvl crew and i can tell you I sport a kd over 2.5.

I actually find the Vicker Mk.7 to be slightly better than the Leopard 2A4 lol mainly the ammunition is much better, the turret despite showing green in the armor analysis, I’ve bounced a bunch shot from 3bm42 and dm33, this thing is definitely underrated, it’s also so much faster than the Challengers.
My biggest problem with it is the small first-stage and the fact that a LFP shot from practically any MBT round just ammo racks it. The turret armour isn’t too great either (though 2A4 isn’t a whole lot better).
If the first stage was larger I think I would agree with you that it is better than the Leopard 2A4.

It has 4 ammo first stage and the reload slows down just a little, probably 2 seconds. The ammuntion is actually really good for its br and it literally ufp’d turms-t and moderna, and its the M829 equivalent which the Fuji use until top tier where it could face 12.7s. It’s also the same round I find it extremely easy to spade my former 11.7 Abrams.
2s increase in reload is abysmal.
6s (good) → 8s (terrible)
You cannot outreload even Russian / Chinese MBTs and your ability to kill multiple tanks in quick succession is greatly hampered.
Much rather have 16 6s reload 410mm pen darts to be honest.
Being able to UFP TURMST is nothing crazy (even the 2A4 and probably even Abrams’ M774 can do it)
Though I’m not sure about it being able to UFP the Moderna.
M829 is 490mm / 480mm.
Its round is ~470mm, which is still great but still not enough to lol-pen a lot of things, though the spall that comes with that extra penetration is pretty nice.
Vickers also tends to like to explode, just like the Challengers, Ariete and Russian / Chinesen MBTs…
The best 10.7 MBTs generally are the 2A4, Abrams and 292, though I’d put the Vickers Mk.7 on the list too, just not as great as the other three.

The turret basket for the 2A4 and Abrams did make their LFP shots more problematic (especially if the driver / engine gets taken out as well), but immediately getting one-shot via ammo explosion is arguably more problematic.

Also the thing looks like WIP and the company gave up half way and decided to sell it to recover some of the initial cost for development, the thing just doesn’t look battle-ready lol
There was a loophole in German export restrictions that allowed tank hulls (but not tanks) to be exported without government approval iirc. Vickers got their hands on one and developed a “universal” turret that could mount the L11, L/44, or CN120 120mm guns. If you compare the ammo layout of the Mk.7 to the CR1 and CR2 you’ll see that they all have ammo pretty much everywhere.
It was actually a really promising vehicle, but the loophole got tightened and killed the project. A decent chunk of the technology used was then included in CR2 (such as the hunter-killer system which halved TTK in trials against a CR1).
Also if the second stage reload penalty is the same as the CRs then it’ll be ~33% longer than the first stage.

I already said, LEO2A4 is more then good in 10.7br. The problem is that 10.7br got insane uptier, you will see loads of 11.3-11.7br games. Leo2a4 at 10.3 would be too op, I farmed entire Swedish line with Christian at 10.7 and got great stats(similar to my t55am 8.7br stats that everyone cry muh op), one of my best performing tanks and the first 50-100 battles the crew was dead ass garbage were t55am started with maxed out crew. Everyone complain muh Russia bias and forget the great reload, mobility, turret speed and other soft stats that western tank got.

It used to be a 10.0 tank and that is where it belongs. Super old dart and its armor can be penned by 9ish vehicles without any issues. Rather slow. Grainy gen1 thermals for gunner and no thermal for cmdr. The BR bumps to 10.3 and later 10.7 are not really justified.

It’s his actual opinion all the way down. He’s mostly on the unhinged but harmless part of the wehrb spectrum.
You can tell since he is a pretty good player, contrary to most of the usual suspects, his takes are not from skill issue, but purely from his adoration of germany.
