but the Kfir C.2 should be 11.3 rather than 11.7. its literally just the Kfir Canard’s airframe (same engine same flight performance) but with 2 python 3s rather than 2 aim 9gs/ shafrir 2’s. The Kfir Canard is 11.0 and the Kfir C2 is 11.7 despite only having better missiles. and the Kfir C.7 is 12.0 (only 0.3 higher) having FOUR python 3s instead of 2. arguing that 11.3 is too low of a br for python 3s is also ridiculous as the japanese F5C is 11.3 with 2 python 3s and is only 0.3 higher than the non python 3 variants in the US tech tree, unlike the kfir c2 which is 0.7 higher.

this could be a viable option but itd ruin the fun of playing the kfir c2. i enjoyed using it back when it was the lowest br python slinger and i dont see myself playing it at all if it had some of the worst (in my experience) high g pulling ir missiles at a br 1.3 higher than the earliest 9l slingers… thats just my opinion though lmao
Almost all the Kfir’s are over BR’d I’m gonna be honest. The premium Canard has 2 mediocre missiles and kinda sucks at bombing especially with all the premium tornado players just .3 BR above it. Also Gaijin thinks wayyyy to highly of the Python 3, even if its one of the best non-IRCCM missiles, its still non-IRCCM and can be avoided with 1 Flare most the time. The fact the C.7 is just 1 BR bracket below the M2k CS-5 is absolutely mind boggling to me when its better in almost every conceivable way. I’d say the C.7 should be 11.7, the C.2 11.3, and the Canard should be 10.7 (same BR as the Mirage 3E makes perfect sense to me)

The F-5E is an inferior airframe to the Kfir C series.
The f5e can turn the same and maintain speed afterwards unlike the kfir. Also I wouldn’t even be making an argument if the kfir c2 had a better engine than the canard. But it doesn’t. The c2’s stats are a literal copy paste of the kfir canards other than the canards on the c2 being slightly bigger, but offering no functional advantage.

This would make the most sense I agree. Usually vehicles copied and repasted into the game but with better weaponry are only 0.3 higher in br. Hell some cases the vehicle stays the same br as the weaker variant. Not sure why they decided to move the c2 up a whole 0.7 higher than the canard when it’s the exact same vehicle on paper but with front aspect just-as-flareable missiles. Shame they’re shafting niche rare event vehicles like this, would’ve been most logical to have just left it where it was during the last decompression
A Kfir C.2 is much better than a F-5E flight performance wise. It doesn’t matter if it’s possible to bleed some speed faster by misusing the aircraft, its overall better than it in every possible way other than energy retention due to a poorly mismanaged energy state. Anyone who’s smart knows not be careful with the Kfir and not to bleed all its speed into one or two turns, you want to conserve it, almost like the F-5E when it sits above Mach .9

Yeah when flown right the F-5E won’t be able to touch the Kfir at all.
then perhaps the f5e needs moved down? python 3s arent that good im convinced you could flare them off with bullets. theres nothing justafiable about a kfir canard 0.7 higher in br with the same everything other than 2 instantly flarable missiles. its 0.3 lower in br than a plane with a much more powerful engine and flight model with 4 missiles instead of 2. it makes zero sense.
on another note since the kfir c2 is literally just a copy paste kfir canard, the c2s airframe is literally found at a lower br than the f5e.
Then it would be the same BR as the standard F-5E, and only 0.3 higher than the F-5C and A.
The F-5E FCU is also quite good at 11.3, and the entire F-5 series is a great way to show BR compression.
yeah i guess so. seems like this whole situation could literally ONLY be solved after another decompression because no matter whats done with it someones not happy abt it
