While the recent BR changes are a welcome step, the upcoming adjustments risk creating massive progression gaps for helicopters. Machines like the Alouette II are heavily over-tiered, and the new updates push them into even worse matchups.
Mi-24 Hind vs. Alouette II: The Mi-24 is a heavily armored multi-role combat helicopter with robust survivability and firepower. Meanwhile, the agile Alouette II is made of paper and relies on excruciatingly slow, manual-guided SS.11 missiles that are nearly impossible to hit moving targets with, yet they are crammed into brutal BR brackets.
Mi-8TV vs. H-34: The H-34 sits higher at BR 8.7 despite inferior flight performance and weaker armament. In contrast, the Mi-8TV boasts better flight performance and a superior armament suite (including longer-range and more numerous guided missiles), yet sits lower at BR 8.3.
I belive these BR changes should be reviewed. What are your thoughts?
How exactly? They sit at the rank they can, at any situation BUT total uptier, destroy each and every their target while being untouchable for SPAAs as there are like two SPAAs with He-VT and one of them can easily be avoided as has no guidance, and the other one is total uptier.
It is regarding the future br changes, in the changes there is that the alouette, hkp2 will have same br 9.0 as mi24 a and d which i dont find out fair. The mi8 has more simular armament as the alouette but i will have br only 8.3. For me alouette, scouts, h2p3 should have 8.7 or the mi8 should be moved to 8.7
I believe the H-34 that is moving up is the american event one, which gets a missile with like 6km+ range, which at 8.0 just makes it functionally immune to all ground based AA, while the Mi8TV gets x4 4km falangas which are not good missiles
falangas and as11s are far more comparable missiles than you think,
both the falanga and AS.11 are basically the same speed and have the same guidance
the hkp2 has the same as.11 missiles as the sa313 so should be the same BR
the sa313s and similar vehicles have been far too low BR for too long
