Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor - Transforming the Aerial Warfare

Well, F-22 may also be able to take 1x1 countermeasures to get 144 and since countermeausre tech improves and iirc F-22 gets some special ones they could be equivalent to standard cm’s.

The F-22 can only carry AIM-9Xs on the outside pylons afaik. So 6 AIM-120C-5s and 10 AIM-9Xs

Why not AMRAAM? Basically every double launcher in US use can fire both AIM-9 and 120

Do you have photo or doc evidence for that? AMRAAM quite a bit heavier. I don’t know how far the wing loading goes on the F-22

Each station rated for 5,000lb, with photo evidence I can only immediately confirm the inner wings can do this though. That being said, a double racks with AMRAAM doesn’t weigh anywhere near 5000lb

Raptor can take fuel tanks which much more heavier than even 10 AMRAAMs

Twin pylon BTW.

Ok
Nice
So it can carry 16 AMRAAMs?

14+2 maybe. I’m not sure.

F-35 has four CMDS. The capacity of each dispenser is unknown, but assuming 30 rounds per dispenser, it can hold up to 120 rounds. This is equivalent to the F-16C and F/A-18C.

oh nice, i thought it was just 1

It’s not official iirc.

It is representative tho. Too bad we won’t see any 5th gens until the summer of next year

F-22A early would have been perfectly valid, but I won’t blame Gaijin because there are indeed some more important things to do

According to the official graphic, 10 AMRAAM + 2 Sidewinder is maximum.

In wepon file said about “External stores include a 600 gallon fuel tank and/or launchers carrying two AIM-120 or two AIM-9 missiles per wing station.”, so…
But maybe yes, only 4 AMRAAMs/Sidewinders on external pylon

your right, they should have added it with the ralph and eft like it was IRL

By these metrics Irbis is on par with the most modern foreign systems in its class, surpassing most U.S. and Western European PESA/AESA radars and nearly matching the most advanced of the class—the AN/APG-77 of the F-22.
