why does only the mi-28 have the LMUR missile doesn’t the ka52 carry it as well?
Not the model in game. Ka-52M would if it came to the game though

this is a pretty aged airframe as well. see the second “little brother” optics pod next to the big one, under the nose? this helicopter is older than the mass production Ka-52

Unfortunately no, yellow 063 is experimental unit . As you can see on Izd305/Kh-39/LMUR brochure from KBM ( which is where that photo is coming from ) , Ka-52M is required :
That is because standard Ka-52 doesn’t have the electronics ( AS‑BPLA antena ) for the two-way datalink. On Ka-52M that antenna is equipped in the form of a teardrop on the left wing :

I believe there is not much risk into assuming that it will come next update.
I mean yes I never said serial Ka-52 can actually “use” the lmur, it can certainly carry it. my post was about that.
