Suggestion: BR Adjustments for U.S. Ground Vehicles
I’d like to suggest a small BR rework in the U.S. ground tree to improve balance and lineup flow in the mid-tier range. The proposed changes are:
• Move the T1E1 (5.3) to 5.7
• Move the M4A3E2 Jumbo (5.7) to 5.3
• Swap the T1E1 (90 mm) at 5.7 with the M4A3E2 Jumbo (76 mm) at 6.3
The standard T1E1 performs well enough in mobility and firepower to justify 5.7, while the Jumbo’s armor is more appropriate at 5.3 given current matchmaking and penetration levels. Likewise, the 90 mm T1E1 fits better at a higher BR, whereas the 76 mm Jumbo struggles at 6.3 and would be more competitive at 5.7.
Overall, these adjustments would create more consistent lineups and better reflect each vehicle’s real in-game performance.
Jumbo seems fine at 5.7 imo. The thing outreloads every tank it meets except SPAA, 104mm pen is nasty, and a jumbo at 4.3 is disgusting
Possible, yet in the end its only a clunky yet fast glass cannon.
Nah, the Jumbo is the tank where you need to start knowing where you have to aim, it has a very competitive armor (except on the lower sides), and its stabilizer is quite decent to traverse around and make people give a run for their money when aiming.
In my humble opinion, the T1E1 could perfectly go up to 6.0 and the M4A3E2 down to 6.0 as well. It would make an interesting mini-lineup, an unstabilized glass cannon, and a well rounded tank to complement.
what america needs is a 6.7-7.0 spaa
T1E1 at 5.0 was too good.
At 5.3 it’s good but not that good.
5.7 is pushing it.
Jumbo at 5.3 sounds good on paper but I can see it being a huge issue for 4.3s.
I would prefer it not having to face 6.7s, though, but I think the better option is just decompressing the 5.0-7.3 BR again.
T1E1 90mm has longer reload and no stabilizer compared to the T1E1 76mm, but it gets a much better round.
I think T1E1 90mm may be too strong for 5.7 but I don’t think it is going to do well at 6.3. 6.0 seems reasonable.
The Jumbo 76mm is fine at 6.3. It already demolishes most 6.0s and 6.3s, though it doesn’t perform too badly at 6.7 or 7.0 until it starts facing 7.3s like the IS-3 or Foch.
More decompression would be nice.
