One thing this game should never do is sbm would make this game so much worse then it already is.

I think it should be possible for level 100 players to freely choose the BR they want to play with low-BR vehicles (obviously at a higher BR). This way, they could balance the level of competition (without it being an easy stomp) while still being able to play those vehicles.
In most modes, this is easily possible already. That is what the award “God Mode” is for. A nice bonus you can collect only once per match.
I meant going into a 3.0–4.0 BR match or even higher with a 1.0 BR biplane or something. That way, no one would feel like level 100 pro is dominating unfairly.
Yes, and if you kill a 6.3 BR plane with your 1.0 biplane, you get 20k SL for “Godmode”. 30k SL if you have premium time. On top of whatever the plane earns.
But it does kind of kill the game for those who like to play this BR normally, since the immersion does suffer with biplanes among jets. You just shift the problem elsewhere.

Some people are just starting a new tree, but there are plenty of professional seal clubbers. Recently I ran into two of them, one had over 10k games in the Panzer IV C and the other like 12k in the M2A4. Neither of them really touched even the mid BRs.

Since it currently makes no sense for a few nations to play top tier—for well-known reasons—they’re shifting more toward lower BRs and playing other nations. I’m seeing a lot of level-100 players hanging around 5.7 right now and trying out China (just like I am), for example. That’s the BR range where progression during the grind slows down noticeably.

I like playing ww2 vehicles - not the later one-hit-one-kill tanks that are sniping from 1.5 km away.
The only legit issue I see would be veteran players consistently playing lowest tiers against REAL newbies - possibly to pad their stats.
And your “top-5” placement does not seem consistent with a WR of 35%. Stashark shows you with WR of 46% / 45%. Placement is 57% / 62%.
