Comrades, I want to ask you a favor, particularly to the Leopard specialists of the last decade. I’m not up to date with all the details of the developments of the last decade, so I would like to ask you to put together a list of all the Leopards 2 that are still to be added, up to the current developments (2023).
I ask that we concentrate on those used by the Bundeswerh or prototypes that are not in service in other nations (let’s avoid situations similar to the KF-41). I ask this because I feel there is a big gap between the 2A6 and the 2A7V.

That’s why we should focus on what might come. No export variants, only those used by the Bundeswerh or prototypes that were not exported (such as the Panther).
I clarify: I do not want them to put the BR (with number), but in order, from lowest to highest according to their benefits.
I’ve forwarded all the info on 2A7Vs armour that I could via my “contact”. Hopefully it will be modelled accurately i.e hull will have the same protection as the turret (as per the German requirements); so ~850 to ~950mm against KE, and ~1500mm against CE :)

I made sure to underline that the add-on armour is called “DUEL” add-on armour, but well, if they do make it underperform, I’ll be hiding inside of their walls (s).

generaly i think @Toxindragon is the best and most knowledgeable for the job, he has the book on the leopard series and is most informative about the prototypes as well, as example i know the 2A7A1 never was produced and we only had the prototype of the version on the Demo chassis thingy which i never can remember so i just simply call it 2a7a1 because i can never remember the real name and it is close enough
wait… how tf did they manage to get equivalent protection on the hull as on the turret if the turret has the same composite and higher LOS thickness…
yeah like i just said, that one pretty much never was a thing xD, besides that immediatly the PSO-VT comes to my mind
