Welcome to another episode of:
Wasting my time thinking they care about correcting historical inaccuracies to even the slightest degree.
Ex-1: BRM cant be bothered to do 2 minutes of research
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/5VXa8XbW42PR

The source used (german training manual for M47 and M48 tanks; HDv 226/31)
The response is just absolutely hilarious and clearly shows that the BRM could not be bothered to verify his claims by double-checking literally a single source.
There are infact, multiple versions of M332 HVAP-T. So claiming “U.S. sources take priority” is just absolutely demented, when the U.S. sources themself literally list the same values.

(Source: TM 9-718A - 90-mm GUN TANK M47 (1952) p609 & 615)
oh and as a bonus, here are two other versions of M332 HVAP-T:

Ex-2: “We dont care lol”

(DPM Munster, 90mm Ammunition for M47 and M48 tanks)
In this case, yes, ammunition-selection is down to the developers but even then, this here is a very good way of showing you care a single bit about the M47 G’s implementation, when something as insignificant as the correct HE shell is already too much to ask for.
Not even being forwarded as suggestion, just thrown out because “muh it can fire it and we cba to correct it”
I geniuenly dont understand this. It’s definitely not going to affect the balance of the german M47 in any way (does anyone even use the HE on this to begin with?). It’s just a neat detail to get right for people interested in the historical characteristics of the vehicle to appreciate…
But idk what I expected, goes pretty well in line with M47 G being a extremely lazy/low effort copy & paste of the U.S. M47.
They call it mKPz M47 G and model the smoke-dischargers + hand-rails, which makes it a very specific late version of the Bundeswehr’s M47 but then just dont bother with anything that takes a bit more effort (ammunition-types wrong, crew-count wrong, ammo-capacity wrong, etc.)
Really just a insult of a vehicle from a historical perspective and even when people like me or others decide to invest their time and effort into helping correct these issues, it’s just being disregarded because they simply do not care about it.
Any effort for correcting such relatively unpopular vehicles that they disregarded since their implementation is already proving to be too much effort to ask for.
Idk why I keep wasting my time with this sort of stuff, when the response always ends up showing that they either dont care or just search for the next best excuse (see: Ex-1) to shut reports down anyway.
The two reports regarding the missing ammunition-types were ofc ignored, probably harder to find a excuse to shut those down.

Also cool how they charge ~40,59€ (!!!) for this outside of sales, yet me asking for it receiving the correct HE shell- and correct HVAP-T muzzle-velocity is already too much to ask for :)
