My well thought and practiced advice would be to launch all 8 missiles upon encoutering pantisr. Also arc them horizontaly, really easy to do by pressing q and e before the launch briefly. It’s a pantsir and a soviet player in there, no mercy deserved, nothing can be called unjustified.

Its not just Pars, its the Pantsir model. Its highly resistant. Its the same when you shoot 120mm Nato Heat etc… Through its many compartments the damage cone always starves before it does something serious to this truck.
When I face a Pantsir, I always aim for the missile launch tubes, then it detonates. Thats the only way to kill it.
However its telling when you compare it to the Flarak MAN Truck. Also of similar size, but Gajin programmed it in a way this 5mm constructional steel container walls spall insanely and always kill everything inside. And as soon as any Heat warhead touches it, the whole crew is set to die to overpressure. Its already enough if Heat touches the upper part of the radar dish and all three crew black out. Compare this to Pantsir which is programmes to have something like a damage dampening field right out of Star Trek.

I mean it’s the worst SPAA at top tier, they gotta give it something, right? If it can’t fight planes back, at least lets make it less susceptible to AtG munitions…
What is SPAA is worst? The last place Italian, a place above German…
I think Israel would like a word regarding that last place title when it comes to high tier SPAA.

yeah italy, japan and israel at the very least are both worse then germany at the least
once we get to the adats it comes to preferences and gets a bit argumentive.
I am only certain to say germany is the worst of the best ito 90m, tor m1 and pantsir

Better missiles and easier to use radar (FlaRak) vs better mobility and more missiles ready (ADATS).
Purely looking at AA performance the FlaRak is still better.
Flarak has better missiles and radar. Is really bad vs. ground targets and close by air targets. Can’t climb hills to reach good spots.

not quite, more missles ready plays a big part into AA capability
and then there is the fact that the US adats has access to cannons as well which is a giant advantage against low flying threats
Eh, having a far easier to use radar and better missiles is an even bigger part.
Even against those the missiles are still far better options lol. It’s easy to think that the 25mm is good against anything that isn’t ground when you have never even touched the vehicle.
EDIT: although the M3 .50 cal should be funny.
cant say enough about the radar,
but the cannon still is a giant part specialy since the missles have arming distances etc and for general self defence
we are talking spaa here still the multirole versatily is a huge factor overall
think adats alone is a good reason why US is often chosen in e sports well together with the best cas
not to mention adats silhouette being smaller and not giant and easy to spot like the trucks from cas
depends of course on the cas and if they got targeting pods

Can’t third person lock. So if you see someone on your radar you will have to find it through the good old eyeball. Which isn’t a huge problem when trying to find an aircraft that gets close, but have fun doing it at longer range when you don’t know it’s altitude. Don’t even get me started about trying to find and lock stuff like mavericks or LGBs lol.
The zoom buffs will help a bit, but still way easier to just third person lock it. So the FlaRak wins easily in terms of radar.
Which is why I said that the FlaRak is only easily better when it comes to pure AA duty. Of course the ADATS clears it in multirole, let alone pure anti ground lol.
I think you have a point here.
The Abrams is also a pretty good tank when it comes to these small player number style esport games. The problem it has is that it just doesn’t fit the current ground RB meta/gameplay nearly as well as the 2A7s/122s, but that might be a bit off topic.
honestly i did that the whole time, i just learned rather recently that i can use radar lock to “find” the target and then switch to irst from there,
for a long time i did only IRST and was often not able to find my targets cause of the stupid gen1 thermals
then there is those with tws… dont need to says more
those arent even allowed in e sports anymore, line ups are only no full spall liners only
