Tbf whenever I get a bit ballsy and feel like playing anything besides a 2a7 or UHT, then I am left with the IDS, the tornado that is the only other German CAS aircraft really worth considering at top tier and boy is it a bad one, considering using the phantom instead since at least you can stand off with mavericks and you have some zunis for in and out runs on spaa.
I really think we should see the addition of a foreign aircraft in the same vein as the SAAF Gripen in the form of either:
an Argentinian Block 20 MLU with Sidewinders, Amraams, GBUs and Mavericks
a Swiss F/A-18C with the same armament as listed above
a Polish F-16D (they could essentially use the model of the Barak II despite the differences between the block 40 and the block 52) with the same armament but access to Mavericks for some stand off capability.
These all act as a stop gap for the Tornado ASSTA 3 with some form of HARM or Stand off missiles and the EFTs with their amazing air to ground ordinance, can this thread let me know in the replies which sounds the most feasible out of these 3?
i mean look at the UK and them complaining about indian. Does it look like gajin cares lol?
Besides that switzerland for germany isnt a mistake. The only problematic thing behind the whole thing was the addition itself being a Hunter which UK playerbase asked for. Any other switz vehicle nobody would have cared
Yes I know. That doesn’t change that they SHOULD get the Dutch. The whole Dutch army is integrated into the Bundeswehr and the Leopard 2s the Dutch use are still owned by the Germans. France will quite literally have Leopard 2s that are owned by Germany in their tech tree which makes no sense at all
Well when the Majority of Europe uses Leopard 2s… Germany mainly needs a sub tech tree for air. Their best Air superiority and CAS until the EFT is the F4F ICE (most likely next update) and the Tornado IDS.
Bro what? 60% of Switzerland use German / Swiss German as their primary language. Go to Bavaria and speak swiss German and there is a pretty decent chance they will understand you, maybe not everything but enough to communicate. Same with Austria, swiss German isn’t foreign enough that German speakers wont even understand you.
