i wont deny they were pretty advanced at their time but they got stuck and couldnt keep up, mostly because of the fall of the soviet union and how their projects got delayed or lost, cool tanks but to modern standards they are not so good anymore

2A7 is far superior to the T90M also in war thunder, so i don’t see the issue.
Tanks became more vulnerable to all different kind of equipment anyway.
Just look at the cheap drones and thats only one of many examples.
Brother are you delusional? How in the hell is T90M is inferior to Leopard 2A7V??? In order to kill a T90M you need to aim at a singular perfect pixel when its facing you where a T90M can click mostly anywhere in front aside from lower frontal hull lmao
of course it is but there are also issues with the main armor on the hull that is supposed to be as strong as the turret and is getting pen’d due to armor holes that shouldnt be there in the first place, The current damage model has a floating turret and a hull with holes, and the apfsds buff just made apfsds absolutely stupid for any tank and leopard 2 is getting affected since now getting shot anywhere with pen means death, and that includes abrams, ariete, type 10, challenger 2, T series, ZTZ, STRV 122, Merkavas, and Leclercs

no i will agree with him the 2A7V has superior pen, reverse, thermals, and reload speed, but T90M has a nuking shell and stupid amounts of survivability, but do not forget the fact that the leopard is incorrectly modeled

One single hit doesn’t make a tank better then other I’ve got clips of T80s surviving more ridiculous shots
yeah it has a lot of volumetrics issues and spalling issues, i was testing with a friend not long ago and we found shots from 40 to 20 degrees unconsistant and even flat angles unconsistant with an average of 3 out of every 5 shots
2A7V is definitely better then T90m
For one, accurate modelling. Non-biased balancing is the second thing I’d like but that’s a far fetch. When my pen is good but your tank is very survivable, it sometimes negates that effect

In mobility and fire power yes. The 2A7V spalls sooooo much when half the time the T90M doesn’t. The T90Ms weak points are way smaller too and harder to hit.
