So good that the DM53 was castrated. 😂👍🏻
The original with the long dart was still on the test server yesterday.
In the life server we “only” have a short one so that the enemy vehicles don’t take as much damage.
Very good ammunition if you order 100% and only get 50%!
Sorry, but this is Chanceless that the KF41 come for Germany
You didnt understood correctly. It wasn’t even said anything about Leopard 2s shells, only that 2A6/2A7V has best shell in the game, even better than Abrams has (tried to translate as close as I could). On an earlier question if T-90M will recieve a new shell they said that there is just one APDSFS to add, but they wont as it simply is unneeded, they did clarify that it would add more penetration, but nothing too significant.
Hopefully, would drastically improve protection for the Leopard if thats the case (American mains would meanwhile prob not be as pleased…with their du armor bug report shenanigans…)
Indeed it is, though even this doesn’t necessarily say a lot.
Flags in files are indicative that Gaijin at the very least has certain interest in at least one vehicle from said nation, but that is all we can gather from it.
It isn’t even enough to confirm whether that nation will even get anything at all.
Is a GDR Su-27 completely off the table or is it as of now not being considered? I would like to know as I was planning on making a suggestion. Thanks!
What’s the point of having the best round when you can’t pen tanks like t80bvm etc in ranges of under 500 meters ?
When you should be able to ?
Meanwhile ru tanks keep it up with point and click :)
Its funny when you see t80bvm vs t80bvm and they struggle to aim for a single weakspot lol
What I am about to say probably won’t be very popular, but it should be said. I think the German Su-27 is pure cope. The sources that suggest the GDR had ordered the Su-27 are dubious. Unless I am missing something, the main source seems to be East Germany’s Military: Forces and Expenditures by Keith Crane of RAND however this was written in October 1989, a month before the fall of the Berlin Wall and Reunification. It does not have benefit of primary material from the GDR as such the report only contains an analysis of information that was publicly available at the time the report was made. Furthermore, a later publication of the source used by Crane (The Military Balance from The International Institute for Strategic Studies) makes no mention of Su-27s by the GDR. From the 1990-1991 report:
Furthermore, I have searched the Bundesarchiv for any reference of GDR interest in the Su-27 and have come up short. Books written on the GDR air forces also make no reference to any interest in the Su-27. Ultimately, I think the inclusion of the Su-27 was an error on the part of Crane.
I am mainly a ground rb player so I may be biased but shouldn’t we try to get a plane that would be more useful for cas? We already have Mig-29G while our only okay cas option is the IDS.
We’d need an subtree for that tho since Luftwaffe is lacking in that department.
Well, no disagreement there. As it stands, the German tree won’t have any multirole fighter until the Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 2, which is likely years away.
My point was that there is simply no reliable evidence the GDR ordered or considered the Su-27. The early Su-27 isn’t multirole anyway.
No, you can still see the turret isn’t sitting in flush with the hull. If you go into the x-ray, the turret ring is basically not covered by armour from the side.
