Yeah but would gaijin use the excuse that you have to prove that this nations leopard used it or do you think they’d let it through given general compatibility
Whether a specific nation used the shell is irrelevant to them (See: ammunition on mKPz M47G, DM 53 on Strv 122, etc.) aslong as the technical compatability can be proven (which it has been in this case)
Fair enough, more so worried gaijin would still find some way to argue against it. Though I guess if they don’t want it, they’ll just keep it in accepted limbo

Sweden, UK, US etc… they all get German ammo they never used irl. So why not the other way around for once.
I’m not saying I don’t want that, I’m more so just worried gaijin will just backpedal because they themselves don’t want it.
I doubt they will do it. It might upset US players.

Giving stab to Marder is in fact an upgrade

While also losing the milan (at least it’s not present in the image). This “upgrade” may as well be at the same or a lower br
Ps. I was corrected, im just blind
You can literally see the Milan rack in the photo. You understand the Milan doesn’t just sit on the rack the whole time irl like it does in game. They are loaded independently by panzergrenadiers
I might be blind but where?
Even looking at other LWT-3 pictures I have, I can’t quite seem to see it.
It’s the most popular game mode in WT…
It is a lot more than two years. You mention the situation with the post-war vehicles but the problem is bigger than that. Even the wartime 1939-1945 vehicles are severely lacking. We never received our best or newest vehicles. It seems like the majority of the wartime German vehicles are deliberately and perpetually stuck at circa 1943 configurations or earlier. Since the release of this game, over 10 years ago, we have been stuck with:
no +1943 Arado Ar 196 A-5 (WT’s A-3 is rare, early model)
no +1943 Arado Ar 440 A (Oberleutnant Thierfelder was extremely enthusiastic about this aircraft)

that’s true i find it weird why not adding any on these in the list like the missing so many.
Germany need new fighters like :
Me 262 HG I
Me 262 HG II this fighter could be good against Su-9 and kika unlike normal Me 262
Fw 190 D-14 better than Fw 190 D-13 thanks to new engines
Fw 190 D-11
Me 262 A-1/U5 ( just a normal Me 262 with 6 mk 108 instead of basic 4 )
BF 109 K-6
Bf 109 K-14 am not sure if was built
Heinkel He 177 B-5 ( better in every way than the normal He 177 A-5 in game )
Heinkel He 177 A-6, A-7 am not sure of the A-6 was built but the A-7 would be also good bomber if snail added the better engines.
many Ar 234 C-3N / C-5 / C-6 / C-7
it’s sad Ar 234 with m151 pod was premium and germany got no new or updated Ar 234 models for old Ar 234 😭

Evidence for it is kinda all over the place but most put it as not built or unable to prove
true it’s like the Fw 190 D-15 with DB 603EB engines it’s hard to find trusted sources.
yeah I don’t understand why the ussr gets 1 of 1 ulta rare planes just get added to the tt but German or others are missing, yak3u for example

when was the last time germany got a a good fight in WWII or new jet it was years ago
so many suggestion and options available but no none get chosen or get added after many years.
even bombers Germany could have really good bombers best one is He 177 A-5 they could get
all of them are suggested and passed.
He 277 / Junkers Ju 390 / Ju 287
Ju 488 V3
the most pretty bomber from all of them very handsome bomber 😻
germany need new bombers like the Ju 288c is only for GE and He 177 don’t have their SC 2500 bombs which is weird to.
Dornier Do 317 B
poll
The Dornier Do 317 B was the final evolution of the Do 17/215/217 series. Equipped with the powerful DB 610 engine, it was one of the contenders of the Bomber B specification along with the Arado Ar 340 , the Focke Wulf Fw 191 , the Henschel Hs 130 , & the Junkers Ju 288 . The Bomber B specification called for an aircraft featuring a pressurized cabin, remote controlled defensive armament, a radius of action sufficient to encompass the entire British Isles from bases in France & Norway, & a max…
and good also the Ar 440 A
poll
The Arado Ar 440 A was the final evolution of the Ar 240 series. Equipped with the powerful DB 603 engine, it was a development of the previous Arado Ar 240 zerstörer . The generally unsatisfactory characteristics revealed by the Ar 240 and the difficulties experienced by Arado Flugzeugwerke in its attempts to rectify the shortcomings of the aircraft led the design team to consider, at the beginning of 1942, more drastic measures. While every effort was expended in eradicating the defects st…

Some time later and uuh, I would just like to add something rather amusing;
Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH, Germany - is a leading supplier large and medium caliber ammunition as well as of pyrotechnical camouflage, deception ammunition and anti-sensor protection systems for the army, navy and air force. On account of...
What conclusions you draw from this is up to you :)
Aside from the ERA part, the data also shows that DM 53’s ballistics and thus penetration are underperforming;
Rh 120 L/55 Cannon, V0 = 1750m/s:
1km, 0° Obliquity, Ve = 1695m/s, Line-Of-Sight Perforation:
Spoiler: full calc
1km, 60° Obliquity, Ve = 1695m/s, Line-Of-Sight Perforation:
Corresponding Plate-Thickness perforated: 369.7mm
Spoiler: full calc
Rh 120 L/44 Cannon, V0 = 1670m/s;
1km, 0° Obliquity, Ve = 1615m/s, Line-Of-Sight Perforation:
Spoiler: full calc
1km, 60° Obliquity, Ve = 1615m/s, Line-Of-Sight Perforation:
Corresponding Plate-Thickness perforated: 351.5mm
Spoiler: full calc
Note: Dimensions for the penetrator are the same as those used ingame currently.
Using the ingame ballistics-chart, we can see that the residual-velocity at 1km is;
Too low by 10m/s on L/55 (Should be 1695m/s Ve)
Too low by 7m/s on L/44 (Should be 1615m/s Ve)

uh huh… double-reactive armour… and the method of defeating it ;)
Surely they just didnt know T-80U existed by then, they only did firing trials against it ~2 decades earlier.
Brochure is from February 2014 or earlier as it’s the first archival-date of this brochure.

More “clear marketing lies” for y’all

Surely this means it will fail to defeat K5 2km below it’s effective combat-range, right? :)
