Aren’t we both part of the same hypocrisy as we all asking for the same privilege which is to point and click anything we see? The only purpose of this thread is we want this thing to be up in BR so we are less likely to face something that requires aiming effort to kill lol
Also, there are no other heavy tanks at 8.7, so the comparison is pretty pointless because all yall want is a heavy tank that can be kill as easily as other mediums :S
This is false. it was one of the technical moderators on the issues page, and he is not a native english speaker. when he spoke about wet ammo stowage, he also spoke about the flash point of the fuel because he was talking about the ammo stored in the fuel tank, not the ammo in the carousel, it was just a bit unclear because of his wording.
He said it, I don’t believe it was a translation issue. I do believe its the reason why they don’t detonate. They have provided no other excuses as to why.
Russian ammo does detonate, just as all the rest do. occasionally you will get a bug where it doesnt, but this bug can happen to any vehicle and does. It is a mix of several different things that makes people believe that russian ammo doesnt detonate, and a major one of those things is confirmation bias
It was datamined, which means there is no context for it. for all we know there could actually be other hidden modifiers that effect the probablility of ammo detonation, but those numbers alone, prove nothing, especially as it isnt just russia with the 0.15
if i would want that i would ask for the maus to be 6.3 or 6.3 or tiger 2h 6.0 is36.0 is4m 6.7 t32e1 6.7
And many more heavys that suffer the fate of getting point and clicked by atgms or heat-fs apds and hesh ( yes i know hesh isnt that great ^^)
no but if i play vs a tank that will lol pen me even 2km out while i have to aim for a small weakspot, if i want that i would drive my panzer 2h vs t90 all day long.
It really is sad how much better the aim of players currently playing Soviet tanks are.
Everyone should be forced to play against KV-1Es using M4A2s & vice-versa until they’re good at shot placement, then T-80 players would face equally skilled opponents at the least.
A bit off topic.
That come from this bug report about TOW-2B TOW-2B not detonating ammo
There are mutiple hit on ammo in carousel show in video. not just the one in fuel tank stowage.
However their answer were about ammo in fuel tank stowage and nothings else. which isn’t the main point of bug report trying to represent.
Still wet stowage didn’t completely prevent fires, it delayed the onset of full combustion. It was safe in the sense that it bought the crew time to get out and protect ammo from small fragment or small heat jet, not that it self-extinguished nor that it made ammo become immune from cook off. There are a reason why blow out penel exist.
Another bug report that got reply with “Working as intended”
Both Bug report got close.
It’s true that ammunition burning change are similar across the board. But the reason that Soviet MBTs got point out the most are becasue of their ammo carousel which often got hit more than others. So you can guess which vehicles would benefit from this the most.
Can we just ignore thunderskill, the thing is clearly completely broken and dominating 7.7s like nobody’s business, or higher than 7.7. It’s practically unkillable by most vehicles of said BR. This thing needs fixing ASAP. I see 3.0 KD on it a LOT.
The snail doesn’t care, because its russian. The 2S38 has been at way too low a BR since its release. But premium russian tanks typically do not get their BR fixed. It could get a nuke every round and they would leave it there.
