Lets talk about team kiling

team killing in sim happens and it cost a lot of money to team kill this is a horable update to the fair use

Agreed. Shared my thought on this in the main thread

The easiest way to prevent teamkilling is to prevent players from using vehicles that came from a nation on the other team.

This definitely seems like a going after a fly with a bazooka.

Easiest way to prevent team killing is to just turn it off in every mode, definitively. It doesn’t add anything to the game other than negatives.

I agree and I got banned because of 1 kill that I did even though it was a misunderstanding
this is recently I got banned for 3 days I don’t understand why.

team killing should be disabled in all modes that aren’t sim.

And splitting especially China into Taiwan vehicles: Bluefor. Mainland: Redfor.

Chinese B-25js give me pain whether I fly japs or american.

Not really. People will teamkill either way. I’ve flown the Ki-61 and A6M on the US PTT/MPTT. Still been shot down by the enemy.

It’s not that hard to figure out if they are friend or foes. At least with these crafts since you are A silver or B Aleutian Blue. However to make it slightly harder is to simply use a Japanese Flag Decal. Good deception however usually they figure out very quickly.

I remember o e of the few times I played sim, many years ago.

-Play Germany
-VS America
-A point side
-M24 Chaffee driving towards the A point (under our control) from B (under control of the enemy) as I am driving towards it from the spawn
-Kill it thinking it was an enemy coming to cap
-Italian M24 which was coming to replenish crew
-Teamkill.exe

It’s because it really got to a point where there was reckless TKing going on, not just a few oopsies on the odd occasion.

People wouldn’t be able to learn what trigger discipline is. It’s counter-intuitive that they can’t disable it in RB. Anyone new to the mode will never learn. Always overheating their guns.

I could understand the banning of intentional TKs but i don’t believe they had 22,000 minor bans and reviewed all of them.

I’d say it’s not that hard to actually gauge intention from the killfeed alone. People should stop being fearful when they know this has become an issue and it genuinely needs fixing.

To gauge that is to say all these bans happened first 2 mins of the match. While some people have stated they have been banned for accidental TKs. So no you won’t guage that from kill feed.

I feel that a chunk were done by the current system. If you teamkilled enough times within a certain period of time, you get banned.

Oh boy, I can’t wait to see if that Sherman over there is American, German, Soviet, Italian, Israeli, Japanese, Swedish, French, British, or Chinese.

Yes you will as the main populace don’t TK… That’s how you know.

Yeah cause missiles don’t go astray in WT.

I would preferred a little more transparency about the people being banned. Not to the point where people know what they can get away with but knowing it isn’t just “oh you TKed doesn’t matter be banned.” But the mods posts put the sentiment of the latter.
