They don’t care or give a statement, as always poor communication. Maybe they need to “gather” more data because what players say is always wrong. Always. Only stats count.

All those 12.7 and 13.0 are basically suffering really hard rn. And the F15E made it worse, even for the Fox3 slingers.
And it will get worse in the next few days when lots of players unlock f15e. it will be a nightmare.
Gaijin has a weird philosophy about all their games (enlisted etc.) were they believe que times are the single most important aspect about player perception of the game. This is why decompression hasn’t happened, and probably never will. They are afraid it might take a minute to find a match instead of 10 seconds, and that will somehow be horrible for the game.
Tin foil hat in me also says they want to keep que times low to appeal to premium 1 death leavers in ground, and keeping the shitty non EC air modes bearable for new premium players that die often so they can get into the match without sitting in que for a minute thinking about how awful that last game was.
In a way to understand why extreme decompression hasn’t been applied just yet, everyone that do ask for it has to understand one thing: you can agree to wait extra time in theory. But in practice, most people that barely has tiktok attention spans won’t consent to have over 40s of queue, and therefore, Gaijin won’t allow such backlash in queue times, unless there’s a force of balancing that motivates them to move the tables, like new weaponry or new ordnance w/gamedictating mechanics (like it happened with ARH).
An exceptionally good airframe with the same missiles as the Tornado F.3 Late won’t be such a compelling point for Gaijin, at least for now. We’ll have to check the obvious br changes that it’ll happen with the upcoming update.
I guess, but I’m also afraid that besides decompression, it is why we don’t have ARB/GRB EC, since it would split the ques.

Thing I wonder though is… queue times aren’t a thing already in air sim. Why not decompress sim EC at the very least?
I hate how if I want to fly a 8.7 F86a5 sabre, half the brackets are full of missile-slingers.
I also hate how said 8.7 sabre has the ability to face Hortons and other super early jet designs (and conversely I really don’t want to fly my banshee against a saggitario 2 - I cannot outrun, outturn that thing no matter what I do beyond surprising it. Somehow we’re the same BR of 8.0)
Who knows, maybe making the jet gunfighter era brackets actually a gunfighter era and separating the mig-15s and sabres from the 40s jets might revitalize the korean war brackets? There’s like… 2 games happening on a friday evening that my sabre is egligible for, and one seems like a dead lobby and the other has 5vs2 going on so also dead. My shooting star has 2 reasonable lobbies + a zomber lobby on Denmark, all of which are like 4v4 at best.
This is a great point, sim has mostly veteran players on its pool, they can set up lobbies at will and have a reasonably different mindset from the rest of the community.
… And that’s the downside of the sim playerpool, there’s not enough to sustain most of brackets, hence the current rotation system. It’s a shame that it happens but it is what it is i guess.
Meteor is too strong for the game at this time, and there are aircraft not even in the game yet that ran the AIM-120B/Cs.
And 4 players in a squad with more than 2 different nations can order a pizza between to battles…
Maybe for GRB, but 95% of high BR ARB matches are almost fully mixed.
I consistently get queue times under 4 seconds when I play anything above 11.0.
For single player that’s true. But in squad with different nations I never had these short queue times, doesn’t matter which BR.
