Lets do a Rerun of the Advanced Modules vote

If the shot was horrible, it would not of critically damaged the vehicle.

I or someone else should not be able to shoot right above a guy’s track and disable them.
(The part of the track in contact with the ground, ofc)

If a critical part is there, why would it not disable them?

Or is there some weird post pen stuff going on?

The turret baskets…
They were not a good change, and having them on every tank just makes it worse. I’d say to remove them from the game tbh.

I dont believe they have it working like how it should irl but they should be added.

If turret baskets are to be removed, they should at least remove autoloader damage disabling reloading too.

I would not mind that.

I just hope they make it work like irl. I feel like the current implimentation has them more critial than they actually are.

IRL this happens too

so yes that’s exactly what should happen

Idk man I want less larp in the game, maybe modules for sim? I just like the more arcadey feel of WT versus a simulator.
The sheer amount of modules just makes it annoying to play the game, for both sides.

in a simulator you’d almost never get tank on tank combat

I voted yes for more modules, but i think gaijin did it too much now
So what i expect is revert some of them(like turret basket) and rework some of them(FCS should not disabled targeting and firing, but thermal and LRF instead imo),but there still some module should be just remove(i mean the driver controls)
At least gaijin should keep the chance to shoot back to the enemy after you been penned, this is still a game, not a simulator.I think nobody like to become a target dummy

I think this is the big divide. Some came to war thunder and saw it as arcady and other came and saw it as realistic.

I came from WoT and liked how war thunder was much more detailed and realistic.

Advanced modules should be a good thing for this game, as it felt wrong seeing big ass MBTs with most of their hulls completely empty.

As for their implementation, I don’t think it’s realistic to ask from Gaijin to bring us full models for dozens of vehicles at the same time (at same BRs, tiers, etc.), so I believe this thing might be used to balance top performers further, helping vehicles in need at least for a few months.
