Only those with “fictional” tag, its disabled by default (i think) so you have to opt in to see that stuff at least in realistic.
Very poorly constucted strawman
Crew skills are something that you can play around with experience. Knowing that the enemy can potentially reload in x seconds if he’s aced is a skill.
Hiding your sometimes only few frontal weakspots has nothing to with skill, not on the “bushing” players part, not on the one shooting. At that point it simply becomes a game of luck; or like we are seeing across all BRs, a game of “shoot breech/barrel, then tracks”. In my opinion quite the opposite of skill.
Only if the GE are refunded, then.
People paid for camouflage items sold as camouflage items meant to be camouflage items.
If they lose the ONE function they are suppossed to fulfill, then they are effectively removed. Therefore, must be refunded.
I find mindblowing that someone would suggest to just remove the functionality of a paid item with no compensation.
That’s the point. if they’re going to change it they need to refund the GE. The point of bushes is literally camouflage and hiding weak spots
exactly. the point of buying bushes is to cover up weak spots and camouflage
Yep.
The people who suggest an effective removal with no compensation defend this by going like: “ooooh, but its just a decoration, right? Totally not P2W?? Or are you admitting that its P2W??? :DDDDDDD”
Of course its P2W, so what? That doesn’t mean its okay to just screw over thousands of customers who did pay for it.
In general, those statements don’t come from players who understand that paying customers can’t just be screwed over just because they dislike them and the product they purchased.
Their line of thought is: “because I dislike P2W, I don’t care if they are screwed over, I don’t care about how things around a company’s customers work, let them just cope and seethe!!1!1”, which is just immature and petty.
As I said, I’m fine if they remove or make bushes useless- but ONLY if they are fully refunded.
i would not mind if they remove bushes
if they would replace it with proper, cool looking, animated, physics affected camo nets, with foliage etc.
Would be cool, if you could hang camo net on tank, mount it in couple places and it would bounce around, wave with wind and tank movement etc.
Ok but the point of this game is being as relastic as possible which is gaijin Aim however they are still quite lazy at it but if you hate realism WOTB will be a better game for you. or just play arcade in War thunder.
Yup, in the real world, military used bushes to hide and camouflage. And yes, Gaijin tries to aim close to realism. Some people just don’t like it sadly lol Oh wellssss
Thats why in GRB we should have:
-historical sights
-aiming through sights instead of through barrel
-grass in all views
-removed option to mute your engine and boost enemy engine sounds
but that’s the story for another time
That’s why i said “close to realism”. They not going full out realistic.
That is not full realistic, these are small things that woulld add up to the realism.
It’s not like “days of repairs for damaged breach” or “viewing only through cupolas and optics” that would turn the game 180’
but again, its for different time and topic
Some tanks, when properly bushed up, are basically invisible. A lot of tanks become impossible to identify once bushed up.
Bushes give a huge advantage to their user. They work especially well with smaller tanks, mainly Soviet, as you don’t get any more or bigger bushes for bigger tank, so there’s also our fan favourite - russian bias.
Ah yeeeees, because nobody but them have small tanks
This is getting ridiculous
I found the most success covering Soviet tanks. ASU becomes 100% invisible, but you can do the same with BT-7, T-50 etc. as they are very narrow. It’s also super easy to cover T-34s as they are quite small too. You need more and bigger bushes for German, British and American vehicles of similar BR, with some exceptions of course.
Some tanks even when covered, have some parts sticking out, like gun mantlet on Pz IV.
The wiesel greets you
Yeah, totally true.
It is ridiculous that tanks like:
Cruiser Mk II (A10)
A13 Mk I / Mk II
Valentine Mk I / Mk XI
Light Tank Mk VI C
AEC Mk II / Mk III
Pz.Kpfw. II C
Sd.Kfz. 140
Flakpanzer I
M22 Locust
M3 Stuart
M5A1 Stuart
T18E2
T17E2
XM800T
L6/40
AB 41
Semovente 47/32
AMR.35 ZT3
Panhard 178
H.35 / H.39 / R.39
Ha-Go (Type 95)
Ke-Ni / Ke-Ni B
Type 97 Chi-Ha
Strv m/38 / m/40
Pvkv II
Ikv 72 / Ikv 103
AMX-13
are much bigger and harder to cover with bushes than BT-7 or T-34.
I think ru tanks have 0.5 modifier to the size, thats why they are much smaller than smallest tanks.
Just stop dude…
I came across a hulldown Turm 3 who had arranged the bushes in a really good way that basically made him look part of the scenery.
Most of the tanks on the list are generally dogshit and you had to go through basically all the nations combined to make this list reasonably long, but hey, you tried.
Meanwhile it’s russian invisible bushed-up tanks being the real menace at low tier. I guess that’s just coincidence.
