The Harriers have been done so dirty due to their arrogance and laziness. The RAF Harriers are not even visually modeled correctly.
That’s the bare minimum just a visual model they couldn’t even do that.

Yes while the mk5 is slightly more sluggish The T55AM1 or AMD1 is not much better at all overall, especially considering that the chieftains have the wrong engines.
The fact of the matter is, most folks would rather get the engines for all the chieftains, and a LRF for the mk5 over just a slight reload buff, its reload with a full expert crew is 8 seconds, for the fact of being a 120mm cannon, and having a fantastic round, that is not needing buffed.
As well as this the T62, Object 435 which have 115 mm cannons, have a substantially worse reload, for a round thats about on par.
Yeah I tend to stay away from WW2 now adays bar for the pershings or such as if I go lower, for tiger 1, jumbo sherman, etc I feel bad as ive far too many hours in the game to be there.

Sh*t like that is why theyre going to nerf the fking ammo for it and will absolutely ruin the Rarden ammunition.
The falcon is an SPAA and should not be absolutely peppering tanks teh way it does.

the Mk3 is the only one that can mount a blade and it works in its favour as its slightly more armour for the hull, which is already proved to be incorrect as well.
Hardly, at all. you can take a mk3 chieftain, or even the mk5 and absolutely demolish highly mobile tanks.
Following a meta is pretty shallow in my honest opinion.
The M60 TTS has a substantially better round than the Xm803 having the same round found on the abrams at 10.7, at 9.0 (not great for 10.7 but banging for 9.0)
Has substantially better optics last I checked over the 8x - 12x on the Xm803 .
has better effective armour against more rounds with the ERA, surprisingly.

The TTS for 9.0 is a properly nice tank.
It would move up to 9.0 I guaruntee it mate, too many people would complain about it at 8.7 with LRF, apds and better armour.
But it shouldnt get a reload buff, why would the mk5 get a reload buff and not the mk3 or 10¿

Jaguar GR1A and GR1 are barely super sonic and im sure i read their FMs are wrong too could be wrong about that.
Javelin which is renowned for going super sonic over london at night time cant even break mach 0.92 i think without ripping its wings off.
Harrier Fms are so bad the thing is a flying brick when IRL theres documents of them rolling with miraages during the falklands.

The Olifant is arguable under BRd at 8.3, look at the shot kal gimel, sits at 8.7 with only having the bonus of ERA, and is less mobile I believe. apologies shot kal gimel has the upgraded hull as well so 127mm of protection over the 76mm on the oli
The chieftain MK5 with a LRF, and better armour would certainly have people crying for it to move up.

You should get into sim if you havent, the communities not the biggest but its quite nice apart from the odd player here and there whos doesnt know what it is and shoots you in spawn. While noble i dont think you should worry too much about that, i think theres more new players at top tier with the premuims than anywhere else. Plus you should play what you enjoy, theres no ranking system so its on Gaijin if the new player base does not enjoy their game because an experienced player is playing their favourite tank at a lower BR.
Because i dont have the blade mounted on the mk3, and i havent touched the mk3 since i got the mk5.
Lets agree to disagree. People play this game competitively, and most times people will go for the better tank from the get go. Why play a pvp game with a disadvantage? I think after a while and experience people will stray away from the meta, myself at the moment am trying to spade every vehicle i skipped or looked over, even with i think 8 or 9 thousand hours there are tanks i struggle in and they tend to be the slower playstyle tanks. They dont fit my playstyle, while i can do well it doesnt bring me joy. I recently spaded the finish t54 to be a completionist, while i got a 3 or 4kd in it i absolutely hated the experience and put it away the moment i unlocked the final module.
I dont think its that specific cannon, sure the apds does wonders, but the za35 with the ap-i that acts like aphe for god knows why is just as dealy. The gepard and pgz809 or whatever the chinese gerpard is called is the same too. I stopped playing the fox when i heard the announcement that theyre considering reworking the Rarden apds ammunition, i hated what they did to m735 and apds in general so when i hear ammunition reworks i worry. But i dont think the falcon is the cause of the change, it was the fox.
Oh no i mean the buff for both the mk3 and mk5, the mk3 especially. The mk10 i dont think needs it, the better turret, comepletely real round, lrf and thermnals make it a very nice 9.0, maybe even a little too nice. Bear in mind if the mk5 gets the suggested engine and lrf, a new issue will rise and that, the same one asked about the m26 oershing being the same br as the same upgraded tanks or the tiger 2p and the 2h being the same despite clear advantage between the,m. If it goes to 9.0 the mk10 will either move up, or it ill stay at 9.0 and no one will play the mk5 anymore because why would they when at the same br is a better tank?
The Rarden APDS is modeled to what is known about its specs. If they nerfed it there would be major backlash.
This is why i wish it got just a little buff to shut up the masses. I really like it at 8.7, people WILL whine if it stays there. And yes i agree it will do fine, but that doesnt change the fact im happy with it at 8.7.
Its like when the jumbp moved to 6.3, it is my most played vehicle and i have no problems with it there, i still joined the crowd wanting it at 6.0.
Bear in mind this is from when it was 6.0 then moved to 6.3. i started the game as russia, then moved to germany then did i play USA skipping almost all of this with the xm1 and merkava mk2 with a talisman. I came back to it just before the move and was better experienced it is such a good tank even in a full uptier you have the tools to work it if you think. I feel the same with the chieftans, they can go up with no issue, but i dont want them to, and i know for a fact upgrading them will lead to a change in br.
There was major backlash about the jumbo moving to 6.3 yet it still happened, the atgm changed where hated yet it still happened. The changes to apds and some apdsfs round where disliked yet it still happened. You said that gaijin hasnt modelled many things despite them bneing incorect irl, what makes you think theyd throw its known specs out the window and come up with their own formula. I wouldnt be suprised if they made it on par with russian 30mm apds or just slightly better than it purely because they are close in calibre or some stupid reason like that.
So it’s actually not using the same formula as all the other APDS, instead using a range look-up table, it’s actually one of very few rounds still using a look up.
Gaijin have stated this is changing and will work out to be a nerf overall (lower flat and angled pen). It hasn’t come yet though, brought on because of the Fox it appears. They’ve delayed it to rework other low calibre APDS too, so maybe with the next update all APDS will get nerfed, weeee
We only have 1 figure for RARDEN pen and its for 45 degree at 1500 meters
They literally planned on nerfing it, was announced, had major backlash and they claimed to be going back to the drawing board with it to try nerf it on the falcon but not the rarden entirely.
Mate I refuse to use the L23 on the Shir 2 out of historical accuracy xD and still got near a 2.0 KD with it. I wont go bcak to those BRs unless absolutely necessary. Got a 5.7 swede lineup and its jsut silly for me tbh. I use bushes and all that malarky and listen for engines etc and folks just dont keep up.
Heck even at 8.7 i still do excedingly well at.

Again as I said, its not a disadvantage, the TTS makes up for being slower with superior optics, ammo and thermals, its designed for a different role to the XM803
This statement right here is key.
They are not Suited for fast gameplay playstyles, but at 9.0, the meta is not mobility, hence why teh XM803, or MBT 70 are not the meta at their respective BRs.
At 9.0 id much rather use a cheiftain MK10, M60A3 TTS or a shot kal Dalet over an MBT 70 or XM803. As the faster pace means nothing in the longer scheme of a battle.
The T54 suffers from an insanely bad turret rotation, that you have to mitage using its tank rotation speed to compensate, I am pretty bad with the T54, but with the Tiran 4S for example I do pretty well with, Right enough not touched the T54 since they moved it to 8.0 really.
No it was to do with the ammunitions which in turn would affect rarden. not rarden being nerfed itself as they sahre the 30x 170 ammo
1 they did it to try balance the ammunition, if you see the thread its more about hte falcon and folks crying about the fox.
2. the rarden APDS being affected was a side aspect of the ammunition in total getting hammered.
APDS works fine? and the M735 has higher angled pen now does it not? so its functionally better.
That makes little sense though? as they share extremely similar layouts.
the Mk5 with a LRF, and the upped hull armour has every chance of moving to 9.0, seeing as folks cry that the mk3 is the same BR, so effectively they would say the mk5 is better than the 3 but cant sit at the same BR so move it up to 9.0
