They operate the ARV variant, even the Brit’s still use it.
Should already be phased out by all frontline units. I think a few are still floating about, but pretty much all of them should be in storage by now.

It says they still have the MBT in service on the wiki but thats the wiki so i doubt it.

If you’re referring to Oman;
Oman went straight to CR2 from Chieftain, completely skipping over CR1
If you’re referring to Jordan;
IIRC their end of service date for CR1 was 2023.
CARRV are Challenger 1 based, however they have been upgraded to CR2 power trains.
You might be thinking of the Challenger 2 based Trojan AEV, which is similar, but is focused on mine and obstruction clearance etc, rather than recovery like the CARRV. They do look similar, but the ARV has a crane to the AEV’s bucket arm,

Again pretty good, although I do question the doubling up on fighters, why not swap one for a buccaneer or something? my 9.3 for comparison. I’d also suggest taking a Rooikat, they’re pretty good at exploiting a bad enemy team to grab wacky positions.

as for the jordanians I was reading that after you said, but for oman it says on wiki they got the CR1 as well? like I said, its wiki and its not reliable, as I have no other source ima roll with oman does infact only have ARV versions or none at all.

I prefer the VFM over the rooikat with MTTD tbh while i know it is objectively worse now adays I just do better with it.

I can’t find any records of any CR1 transfers, and wiki is a bit weird when it comes to defining exactly what a counts as a variant.
NP, unless you’ve got them side by side, it’s hard to tell without looking at the bucket arm/crane. You’re better than most by admitting you’re wrong in this case.
ah fair enough, I would at least swap the Marksman out for the ZA-35, it’s worse at tank-hunting, but the tracking is significantly better + is optical so CAS doesn’t get lock warning.

Fair enough lmao, I’m a weirdo who actually likes the Bucc IRL lmao, so ground it out when they got added. (I have the entire Air tree bar the latest additions, Typhoon, Tornado F.3 late, GR.4, & Vark left these days, but I play less AirRB than I used to, not a super massive fan of the Compression at higher Air RB ranks, been meaning to get into Sim around the 10.0 mark, but I’ve been procrastinating on getting/making a new hotas.)
Oh I completely understand, I’m very wishy washy on which one I like the most, I really like the size and layout of the VFM 5 (and it’s platform, CCVL/Stingray/XM8), but the mobility of the Rooikats is hard to argue with.

See I got to the gripen, and all the other trees fully unlocked, then left britian for again, now I want the buc and the newer addition soon for actual decent cas! and yeah teh compression is a ball breaker TBH man ive not even bothered with the typhoon yet purely cause the gripen and that is a headache, hell not even the F3 Late either.
See i find the mobility useless to me when I get spotted miles away xD the VFM is far more forigiving for bad positioning

Same thing happened in my Churchill VII. I got surrounded to the point where 2 KV-1Es were circling me like sharks trying to find somewhere to pen but genuinely couldn’t. I ended up surviving after about 5 minutes of being repeatedly shot at because a teammate saved me.
