Same here, FPS down to 2/3 and sutters. Anything happens, like explosions, horrible stutters.

Same here. Poor performance even at 4090. Huge FPS drops, from 144 to 100/110.

the miner suspected the same thing, but on a 3050, from 39 fps to 60 in the crosshair, 90 lags and freezes

it worked a little but still its not same like before update

Same here, I’ve been running into FPS drops too, sometimes dipping below 70 and even hitting the 50s. Switching to lighter graphic settings helps a bit at first, but after a few matches the performance degrades again. DLSS also seems to have been hit pretty hard by this update, and that’s all while running on DX11. I even tried deleting the cache to see if it helped, but it didn’t solve the issue.

3090 Ti using DX 12, NOT using any Ray Tracing. I have not had a true/normal FPS drop, however, I have been noticing “stuttering” randomly. This does show up on my FPS meter, but once it passes, I go back to my old/normal FPS pre update.

I already had my Terrain Displacement quality set to 0 (slider all the way to the left/off) before the update, and double checked now and it is still set to 0. Again, I am not noticing a reduction in my max FPS, only having random stuttering where the FPS gets cut in half, and my screen freezes for 1/2 second to 1 second.

I deleted my cache and compiledshaders folders and verified after major update, AND did the same again after the latest patch (I am on 2.49.0.21, looks like there were a couple/few hot fixes after the announced patch.)

Other than that, things seem ok/normal, just wanted to add my results to the list.

The Middle East map is now unplayable, being around 40fps, when before it was at 165. Then in all maps I go around 80fps in third person, and when I put the crosshair it goes to around 165fps. Those 165fps is the limit I have, and it is how I played until a few updates ago, in which it started to drop to 140 or 130, when the graphical changes of the game are not enough to justify this drop in performance, which indicates that all this is nothing more than a huge lack of optimization of the game.

So, I agree that it is frustrating when updates impact FPS, however, I will say that every time this has happened in the past the Devs have made improvements fairly rapidly. And for me anyway, have actually made the game faster over time, overall. Give it a few days/week before you get too upset about it. Keep posting about your results, what GPU you have, if DX 11 or DX 12 etc etc etc. More info can help the Devs pin down the exact cause(s).

I am not a Dev myself, but I have worked with Devs before and code is tricky, and usually takes time. Often more time than you/we/the Devs think it should take. It is never “that easy”. So, again, while I am not telling anyone not to complain, I would recommend giving it a little time and do what you/we can to help the Devs figure out the issue. Cheers.

I’m tired of seeing minimal visual improvements, mainly effects improvements, which only affect you when they happen.
I play with DX12, with a Ryzen 5 5600X and an RX6700XT. I have Vsync activated with my 165Hz monitor, so the FPS are locked at 165, which is the number I was playing with until about four updates ago. I also reported those problems of continuous FPS drops a few months ago, the report is accepted, but nothing more.

I know it’s complicated, which is why I’ve been asking for a while now for the devs to take their time with updates, to fix them properly, and even to have updates that only focus on fixing things, without adding any vehicles.

Good to see I’m not the only one. Loading times have increased as well and the new updated maps lag so bad just like attica.

Same here since the update. Occasional big stutters of 1 to 2 seconds and some small ones. Interestingly, the FPS counter hasn’t dropped (around 150fps). Happens in air and ground.
