the 2a5 and 2a6 don’t have a ton of armor, sure, and I’d be fine with the 2a5 going down to 11.7 since it’s pretty similar to the M1a2 that went down.
The 2a6 does have the best gun in the game with a good round, and the 2a7v’s addons make a big difference.

Maybe Ariete and Challenger should go down to that BR and since Clickbait is better than 2A5 but stay at lower BR for some reasons

More pen faster reload and sightly faster than 2A5 if not better it the same class but one stay at higher BR for no reason is that CITV really worth higher BR?

To one shot non uparmored leopard is easy as one shot Abrams
Abrams right cheek is vulnerable to good ammo and both cheeks are vulnerable if they are angled even slightly towards the shooter. I don’t have to explain the turret ring. Abrams hull is also easier to pen in my experience though I will let this be just my opinion and not very solid.

For hull armor, the Abrams is far stronger in this regard. Unless you count in the turret ring, which even then the Abrams has better hull armor.
2A5 has a better turret
M1A1 HC/CB has a better hull

You need almost PB range to able to pen it with DM53 from L/55 like 200m or less but most of the times It very rarely that i able to pen it when it does i can French kiss them at that ranges

This ignores the entire hull, so yeah, not very armored. main thing with the 2a6 is the L/55, but the 2a5 doesn’t get that.
There is no Challenger that belongs above 11.3 with the current BR cap, worst top tier MBT. Not super familiar with the Leclerc, and the Arietes are unarmored, but the 5s reload and better optics doesn’t make me think it’s worse than a 2a5. It would be best if all the really good stuff (2a7s, 122s SEPs, Type 10s) moved to 12.3 instead but Gaijin doesn’t increase the BR caps as often as they should.

When it’s hull down it has very little risk to trade fire with other 12.0s, only putting the barrel/breech on the line while others risking their turret crews lol there is a reason why AGS is extremely strong when play hull down, I just got it like few days ago, killed over 100 tanks while only die to them like 10 times, while the rest of the deaths is by CAS which was 70%, it risks nothing to trade fire.
