The spall liner is destroyed after you’ve shot it once. So no, it won’t survive a second shot unless you’re missing your shot.

Rank VIII was introduced without raising the BR of vehicles in said rank. If a vehicle is worthy of being Rank VIII it should be 12.3 battle rating. Gaijin’s refusal to decompress top tier is turning Ground Realistic Battles in to Air Realistic Battles with each successive update as more and more advanced airframes are added.
the 2a7v is almost like strv122 the other ones have weak hull armor, the strv is something else all extremely armored and survivable plus the spall liner now make them OP
now the real problem shoot it twice without die because your first hit did nothing
Yes! We are playing tanks. Tanks do not die in one shot. It is good that you can not one shot a tank unless you hit a critical part.
and guess what spall liners did? make strv and leopards close to impossivle to kill so they can rush your spawn in the first 2 minutes
i don’t think a leopard crew survives a 1400ms 5kg shell entering fighting compartment from side at flat angle

Spall liners don’t absorb the round, it just tightens the spall cone. They’re also destroyed after a penetrating shot.
Spall liners aren’t covering the original frontal weakspot at the cannon breech, you can still shoot them there without any reduction to spall.
If you shoot the side you’re still going to kill crew members, it’s just unlikely that you’ll take out all 3 in the turret.
It won’t if you aim it properly.
you can’t always snipe perfectly the crew but with their dm53 usually they can just shit on anything else considering most minor nations don’t even have a spall liner and russian just on t90m meanwhile sweden gets them on all strv
Yes, the Leopard 2 is a fantastic tank.
Yes, right now other NATO nations are not given spall liners they’ve historically used since as far back as the M60 tank.
That’s why I stated in my original comment the only issue with spall liners is that Gaijin decided to implement them before they were finished modeling them on every Rank VIII vehicle.
The 2A7 should be better than a 122 tho.

No you have fuel tanks which have been modeled to absorb 100% of spall
On NATO tanks they’re modeled to have a steel plate behind them which retriggers the round’s spall with 100% efficiency and then causes a knock out shot
On every T-[X] pattern tank you get two free spall liners
But god forbid you give spall liners to NATO tanks
The horror that top tier might finally become playable and balanced

but that was the exact same win rate the BVM had for quite some time lol
