Germany would never have put it in service. It was always an EXPORT demonstrator on the first place.

Neither 2A6EX nor 2E are of German service. In that sense, there’s no difference at all. 2A6EX is not more “German” just because it wasn’t commissioned. On the other hand, many 2Es were actually produced in Germany and then commissioned and in service- that last part is the only “ethical” difference between 2A6EX and 2E.
But… sure, if you love 1st G*n “thermals” so much, keep pushing for 2A6EX instead of 2E, xD. (or 2A8/2A7A1/2A6A3/whatever.)
But the way I see it, actually good thermals is one of the few (if not only) advantages Germany could possibly get over the Strv 122 hordes.

As simple as that Eurotrophy is selling Trophy in the european market. Its Israeli tech and if there is an weapons embargo by Israel, they cannot sell it.

Not quite true eurotrophy is specialized trophy for the European market developed by knds and rafael systems and this bypasses the Israeli export restrictions
