Thats a no. The side armor is mainly protection against heat shells. Which the aps takes over
I think leo2a7a1 will be no problem to add to the game, but 2a8 is still difficult, we have to wait at least until 2027
2a8 is actualy more likely all things considered.
Besises that the 2a8 is just a 2a7v with aps and lws. Its nothing special all things considered.

But it should appear in Sweden a year later than in Germany. Of course, the STRV 123A could appear now, but without the trophy, it’s a pure carbon copy of the 2A7v. Germany should already have its 2A8 by 2027, while the Swedes will probably get their STRV 123B in 2028.

Norway is a subtree of sweden and those sweden is entitled for the 2a8 norwegian.
All things considered i doubt if the strv123a will even appear anytime soon, if at all.

There is a rule: until a tank officially becomes part of the army, it will not be added in any way. This was the case with the 2a7hu until it arrived in Hungary; it was not added to the game. According to BVVD, the same will happen with the 2a8.
The Strv 123a, unlike the 2a8 Norway, is at least already supplied, and it can be added, unlike the 2a8 Norway
I don’t know whether you know or not what the equipment delivery schedule is. Germany is first on the list, then Norway, which is not currently a branch of Sweden, and the Swedes are already in 4th place on this list.
That rule doesnt exist, there is multiple examples of tanks having been added before official service.

They already had plans/orders for a 2a7 before the 2a8, which switched to the new standard
I know that Norway already has the 2a8, but Norway itself is not currently a Swedish sub-branch. I am not against the Swedes having the 2a8, and they will be given it in 2028 only as the STRV123B, possibly even with additional protection like the STRV122.
I’m all for the German tank to be the first to be added to the game, and then through an update or several others.

I haven’t seen Norwegian technology from the Swedes, but I’m not saying that the Norwegian Leopard should be given to the Germans, don’t twist the words, I’m talking specifically about the Bundensfer variant.
