It is not a team problem, but rather a problem composed of 3 things involving Air: CAS, Heli, and SPAA.
Want to know what Germany really needs? Stop nerfing their tanks, get the actual capabilities of the Pars 3, and fix the IRIS-T, since the latter is currently useless. That alone would significantly boost the win rate and stop making it a punching bag nation that just gets beaten by any Mi-28NM hovering 10km high in the air…

I mean, it’s just a T-90M, it goes from worst top tier tank to worst top tier tank but hey it can’t die to CAS but still dies to everything else
M1A2 Sep v2 trophy, alongside it’s damage model / armor changes is easily the “best” APS tank as of now only besides Merkava Mk.4M as the other APS tanks are either on bad platforms but good (Black Night) or are just bad tanks in themselves (VT4A1, T-72B3A, T-72B3A [Event] and so on.)

If it had its actual capability, the LDIRCM wouldn’t be a problem and you could shoot down those helis too. Germany was completely nerfed because the devs don’t care about playing the game, the game was much better without IRIST and those helis, since IRIST is useless nowadays anyway.
The eurotiger would still be useless. Simple as and yes ldircm is insanely overperforming and should be countered by modern iirs

Cage armor would be weird, if it wasn’t destroyable. Helicopters with unguided rackets would hit it a lot of times. It would protect generally from missles, especially tanks without aps protecting from top down attacks.
base VT4 at 12.3 is already an abysmal, maybe average on a good day tank that could be fine at 12.0 maybe even 11.7, and now place it at 12.7 (doesn’t seem like a big change but it is) with the only major change being an APS and it only get’s worse.
Isnt it also because of the roof, that got finally something thicker than 20mm?
