Meanwhile, they just nerf the 2A7V’s gun depression based on the 2A8 brochure.
And they refuse to add all the addons from the same brochure.
And they don’t even give it the 7,62 roof MG or LWS even tho its in the official BW specs.
All that while the most modern, uparmored Leopard can’t even get the armor level of a 30 year old Strv122.

Yeah but any information regarding the hull “improvement” found in brochures were neglected by Gajin over and over. Not enough info lmao, but they are first to nerf everything non-russian.

A friend of mine filed a bug report about this for both the 2A7V and the HU. For example, we had the video as a source, as well as a doctoral thesis from a university in Budapest that collaborates with the Hungarian Army in many areas. The bug report was simply closed, and my acquaintance was BANNED. But the question I’m asking myself right now is: was the HU ever delivered with the L55, or was it delivered directly with the L55A1? Because the source for the HU still specifies -9 degrees.

Took them LITERALLY 3 minutes. Theres a BRM thats intentionally sitting around intercepting any Leo 2 bug report atm.
@Smin1080p_WT sorry to bother you, but at this point there’s even an email from KNDS saying -7.4deg is not the minimum depression. What needs to be done to make this email acceptable for you guys as a source, cuz this situation is absolutely insane.

Crazy how he just proved the dev team could do that very thing and email the manufacturer directly.
They won’t do it but they could. They need to just make a stamp at the bottom of dev blogs saying what they’ll accept reports on or label as not a bug

- Much like all their other “sources” even if they did, they’d never show us. They’d just say “KNDS said we’re right, kick rocks idiots”
Smin needs to give us a way to provide this email as an acceptable source, since if its true, its a direct answer and pretty open and shut resolution to this whole saga of stupidity and bias on the part of the tech mod(s?) that have been intercepting every single bug report regarding the depression angle.

This is basically what the abrams folks went through a while back. And those reports, dunno if you read them, wre super long wirh excellent sources.
Mod shut it down within 10 minutes without reading it.

I’m mad at Rheinmetall.
Leopard 2A7HU uses a different turret geometry than 2A7V, with a lower internal roof height.
The 2A8 uses a similarly “new” turret with a lower internal roof height.
This is the -7.4 gun depression in-game:
It’s clearly almost hitting the roof of the now shallower angled portion of the turret.
Even if -7.4 is wrong [which I’m not saying it’s correct], I wouldn’t expect better than -8.
Oh, and 2A7V using an older turret with a higher internal roof height gets shafted cause it’s a 2A7… whoooooo…
I’m mad about that; Gaijin could hold off on 2A7V’s change if someone proves [not just us eyeballing the turrets] that 2A7V’s turret is older.
Cause this is clearly far more room between the spall liner & top of the breech than the 2A8s & 2A7HU have:
