Maybe as a separate vehicle, but that setup isn’t the one commissioned for the german army, so personally I’d rather see the planned service vehicle instead of some showroom model.
As far as I understood, the LWS that isn’t installed yet has different properties from the Norwegian one.

Yes, configurationally it’s a prototype, but it’s actually a perfect candidate for the main tech tree. The developers constantly introduce trials and unique configurations to plug tactical gaps, and Germany desperately needs a vehicle with a 50-cal and an LWS to follow right after the 2A7V. Putting this configuration in the line-up is the best way to give the top-tier German deck the missing capabilities it actually needs to compete.

No we don’t. Literally they just need to add some tech demos like the 2a6EX or 2a7+ with something like 2a7a1 there’s 5 Leopards overall and all would improve the German lineup
Yeah, I would really like to see them in the game! Also, they could just add the Spanish Leopard 2E directly into the German tech tree."

I’d rather see our domestic options literally being 2aEX… 🤷♀️ We don’t need Spanish leopard or anyone else’s
We need our Leopards
I wish the Leopard 2 Revolution were in the game.

Let them add in another update as a second vehicle. You’ll get two APS vehicles which is better for line up purposes.

That’s what they did with the A3 round for the abrams - 4mm more pen. Though it adds an anti era penetrator as well. Did the germans not do this with the dm63?

Dm63 is dm53 with different propellent. It should have anti era already they just didn’t believe it 🤷♀️

Got it. Idk, I think dif propellant with lower cook off chance and 3 or 4mm more pen does offer a reasonable tactical advantage.
It’s completely irrelevant.
You quoted half my statement which is a little dishonest.
It’s fine though that you think it’s irrelevant. I don’t, so we can disagree.
Lower cook of still cooks off 🤷♀️ plus in game it likely wouldn’t be modeled so yea its irrelevant genuinely adds nothing
I mean, yeah if gaijin does what it does and doesn’t model it.
As a German main, I know the Leopard 2A8 desperately needs a laser warning system and the DM63 armor pack. Please, gaijin, get to work!
That’s awesome and all, but i don’t wanna wait another couple years for a new leo just for it too to be gimped due to arbitrary decisions.
With every update, Gaijin manages to put Germany in a tough spot—either by adding overpowered vehicles for the opposition, or by introducing German export models (practically every nation has Leopard 2s
now). And yet, every single time, Gaijin manages to give Germany the worst possible version of the Leopard. You’d think that things like .50-cal machine guns or an LWS were just too much to ask for.
Like, literally: why grind the German top tier when Sweden exists?
Come to think of it, it’s almost sad that Gaijin has a grudge against Germany.

that is if they even remember to add the second complete vehicle to germany.

Yeah I get that - however I will point out that the last few uodates have included several new top tier mbts.
So might be a faster turn around. Again, I get what you’re saying - but given how gaijin does… idk.
Why not just rename the DM53 to DM63 and be done with it? XD
You already have the APFSDS round with the highest penetration in the entire game, do you really want the DM73, which penetrates even more? “Game balance” is clearly a concept completely unknown to you… Besides, do you think you’d be the only ones to get it? Italy would have it on its Hungarian Leopard, the UK on the Challenger 3, and Sweden on the 2A8. You’d also have to provide the equivalent rounds to every other nation: the M829A4 for the USA, the 3BM69 for Russia, and so on… It would end up rendering armor as it’s currently modeled completely useless.
’m not even sure how much that would actually work in your favor; knowing Gaijin and the penetration estimates for the 3BM69 “Vacuum-1,” it would end up with Russian tanks completely dominating.
