The least gaijin should do if they deemed D-tech is too overpowered is to make 2a7v ufp the same thickness as strv 122’s(and also fix 2a7v armor hole). But nooo, they have to make 2a7v equal to a 1990’s prototype that still use B-tech(early 2a4) armor

How? its the most Consistently nerfed mbt in the game. Especially compared to real life. Its a mash up of imaginary stats that does not exist.
When it comes to top-tier MBTs, armor is very important. It’s basically the only thing that differentiates you from a light tank at top tier. Just look at the Ariete, the worst top-tier MBT. Why? Because its armor is virtually nonexistent. Otherwise, its stats are actually pretty good. However, if something as large as a modern MBT doesn’t have armor, it simply doesn’t perform well.
Let’s see. The Leclerc’s armor is not only underperforming, as evidenced by many reports, but also just straight up not there in many cases. The NERA in the Leclerc’s turret can’t overperform, because it doesn’t exist. The SXXI and S2 don’t even have their turret cheek armor enhancements… at all. Gone.
The speed is missing entirely due to refusal to model the Hyperbar system. A report with many, many sources showcasing rapid acceleration and a 90kmh stabilized governed top speed has already been posted. Far more necessary at top tier than armor.
The OFL 120 F1 in-game can’t exist. It’s 585mm long, 22mm diameter and 4kg at 17,500kg m^3 density. That’s not possible, It would need to be 601.3mm long to keep the density, diameter and weight correct. That means its missing a considerable amount of penetration (22mm, 600mm 4kg and 17,500kg density at 1,790m/s is 590mm of penetration)
The armor of the Leclerc in material is also just gone. Titanium composite is known to be the SXXI’s biggest change in that category. As well as AZUR having underperforming sideskirt ERA rather than the NERA it should have.
Leclercs also just aren’t given roof MGs, an issue consistent with France (See various AMX-13s, AMX-50s)

Thats not nerfing doe. The leclercs were added into the game like that. The leopard has been nerfed in every single way a tank can be nerfed. Leo2s turret cheek is missing almost 800mm of ce protection name one tank that is missing that much armor in one single spot. All Nato tanks are just made up imaginery numbers

Well, yes, it has been abusively nerfed, but I’m not arguing against that
I’m just addressing the idea it’s the most underperforming compared to real life
All tanks are underperforming to a degree and well no one can really know what tank is the most underperforming compared to real life. Armor values are so classified. But yeah the leclerc are also just a mess.

To add on, because I agree comparing them to real life is a mess;
The Leopard 2A7V should have kept the reload advantage over the T-80s, but now in order to match, you need an aced crew max reload. Whilst it wasn’t a direct nerf to Leopard 2, it was still a bad change as it messed up its likely most common matchup
I think most of the Leopard’s issues come from the buffs towards Russian tanks, eg. the ERA being suspiciously powerful and the reload being its absolute fastest non-combat scenario reload

A. False equivalence. “I like apples” followed by “why don’t you like pears?” is different from the claim that Leopard 2A7V is the most underperforming tank, because that draws concern about authenticity and performance from further underperforming tanks away. That’s the worst comparison of points I’ve seen today.
B. Only armor citations made until acceleration, which is debatable as it’s known that Leopard 2A4/5/6s acceleration is actually OVER performing and 2A7V’s benefit is drawn from that in-game characteristics. As for DM53, citation needed.
