But because of the balance, it lacks distinct features. The M1A1/2 has better mobility than the Leopard 2A7V, the T90M has better protection, and the T80BVM has both mobility and protection. The Leopard 2’s mobility isn’t as good as the M1 or T80, and its protection isn’t very reliable either. When I drive the M1, I can trust the turret armor, but with the Leopard 2, I just can’t.
Or you could say that for a lot of NATO tanks, Gaijin fills in the data based on what they think it should be, not what it actually is
yeah and thats the main problem. When they dont find data for NATO vehicles they just make up the stats and give the terrible armor

And the protection upgrades on the Leopard 2A7V are basically pointless, while its mobility has actually decreased. Improving the combat effectiveness of the Leopard 2A7V is pretty simple: just make its protection more reliable, or at least make the turret something people can actually trust.

Compared to the Leopard 2A7V, I prefer the Leopard 2A4M and A6. Within the Leopard 2 family, the A4M is only worse in mobility than the 2K and A4, while the A6 has better mobility than the A7V.

I hope the Leopard 2A7V can play the role of a breakthrough unit, because right now it’s the only German tank that can really break through the line. But as of now, in terms of mobility, protection, and firepower, it only really has firepower; its protection isn’t very reliable, and its mobility isn’t great either. On the other hand, the A6 can serve as more of an all-rounder.

Btw, the ufp doesn’t penetrate in game. It only says that in protection analysis because you are using the tool wrong. From that angle, you’re shooting from a significant angle above it.

The point of the lower top speed was to sacrifice it for said better acceleration indeed, so… yeah.
Regarding the pen! Is that with Lanz-Odermatt? Is Gaijin using a wrong parameter? Or is that an estimated value with an additional parameter outside of the formula?
