I wouldn’t say extremely marginal, the better turret is rather noticeable. That and the updated damage model are noticeable as well.
Its an 11.3 tank at 12.0 man…

Leopard’s armor is really good but the ricochets I get on them is the most annoying aspect of their tanks. There are so many things I’ve survived in the Strv B+ that I could never imagine in any other tank.
I’m gonna disagree on 2a8 being in the wishlist, its way too modern of a tank, and its implementation would be so controversial, the community would argue for the next 15 years, and they’d be correct about it
There is so much that could be added to that list tho:
- early leo variants, leo 2a1, leo 2a3(both the B tech and C tech versions can get dm33 and go up in br, while 2a1 and 2a3 take the place of current 2a4)
- 2a4(c) and 2a7a1 like you mentioned, the br changes to 2a5 and 2a6
- 2a6a3
- 2a6ex 1 and 2 demos
- 2a6E
- 2a6hel is greece and greece is going to israel, but who knows
- Basic bitch 2a7
- 2a7+ duel ops and/or urban ops
- perhaps 2a4 revolution
- maybe 2a7+ quatar, which would basically be 2a7hu for germany
The 2a7v as a tank is still great, regardless of any flaws or problems it might have, but the lineup needs some love at this point.
I don’t think they’ll do anything for Germany. So many people are making noise about Germany’s improvement, but nobody’s doing anything. I think it will be like how they used to give vehicle like the Iris to Germany and then gave other countries 3-5 times more vehicle. Let’s say the 2A8 comes and it will suffer the same fate as the 2A7V. They’ll nerf it so much that it will be worse than the 2A7V. The community is already complaining that the 2A8 is the same as the 2A7V, only the APS is that it use the. In my opinion, Germany isn’t a country worth playing with.
Geee I wonder why that was nerfed back in the day.
Almost like it was overpowered on release and still is easily one of the best MBTs at top tier now.

2a8 has the same armor then 2a7V.
Nowhere has there been statements about armoe upgrades.

The issue is the 2a7V being wrong in the first place. But as it stands 2a8 will only be a 2a7V with aps and lws and a bit more space armor
yeah no, im just calling cap, 2a7v is an upgraded older tank, 2a8 is a newly built tank, i think that in an of itself must mean a thing or two, or rather, we DON’T KNOW what’s actually behind it, i mean, i disagree witht here being no potential changes to the inner armor layout, nobody knows what’s actually inside, not me, not you, not gaijin, so why add the absolute newest version of the leo to the game ?

I mean me personally, i don’t want stupid guestimates of the armor, as was with sep, sepv3, i don’t like all the drama around strv122 vs 7v, where logic and common sense died for gaijin and like, there are alternatives to 2a8
Add the 2a6ex, add the 2a7+, definitely gonna be a big boost and with less controversy surrouding the addition, at least that’s my point of view on the matter
